No. It’s well below my goals for personal lifetime earnings. And my wife will make more than that in the next 4-5 years.
$100M, maybe.

Yep! I'd open a Cat Cafe where I'd pull adoptable cats from shelters and let them live in my Cafe where they could mingle with guests among books and coffee and secure their forever homes!

Wouldn’t quit right away.
1. would be pay off all debt.
2. Buy land and build a modest but comfortable house
3. Buy a newer nicer vehicle or two/ fix up the classics that I have
4. Set aside money for mine and my SOs wedding/honeymoon
5. Invest a substantial portion for retirement/future
6. Start looking into another jobs/careers I may enjoy more and have something lined up before I quit this job.

A1. Probably look at other practice areas. Might go for a completely different career not sure what that would be though.
OP I would want to have everything else set and know I was secure before I started looking at other jobs. Also wouldn’t want to burn a bridge with my current employer you never know who you will cross paths with again.
I would quit. And start a charity to keep myself busy and structured. Buy property to make sure I still have income coming to continue my lifestyle of leisure and travel.

No. I like my job. It gives me purpose. I'd cut back on hours, would be less concerned with hourly rate, and more concerned about the people and projects I was taking on... but it's healthy to have a sense of purpose beyond yourself.
I would take it and change my job. There are things I’m very passionate about and would gladly focus on at the firm. I’d negotiate a half time, partial travel deal and work as long as it was fun, knowing I could quit at any time.
Hell yes! BYEEEEEEEEE
I absolutely would! Would probably take some time off, maybe a year to spend with my wife and daughter. I’d go back to work, but something far less stressful and with a better work/life balance!
Earned a $6mm windfall this year.
Haven’t quit (yet).
Not wealthy enough to quit my day job, but pretty sure I’ve enough that I don’t have to do extra work for interweb randos.

I would quit my current job. I would like to get a part time teaching position at a community college. This is my “ease into retirement” plan so just moves it up a decade or so. I would also volunteer more than I do now.

This whole thread is what I go through each time I buy a lotto ticket. Thanks OP.

Yes. I will.
I wouldn’t quit, I am actually fulfilled from the job. Yes it is challenging and long hours but it is some competitive aspect that I like about it

I think I would pursue something that is still going to make me money but that I’d be more interested in. Think teaching / researching history with a PHD.

Absolfukinglutely I would quit immediately. I work in public accounting. Nothing we do is meaningful and I have no passion or Excel or PowerPoint.
I would retire on $10M and become a chef.

No, but I'd probably go to a FWA with 30h a week.

Yes, I would use it to take a few years off and live different places for extended periods. I would retool myself and go back to work doing something more fulfilling.
I might look for something else, but I'd keep working. Im convinced I'd stay at home all the time and be beyond depressed if I just stopped working

No traveling?

Ahh never!! I love my job 😭😭😭
But I wanna use that money to give back to my parents for once after them supporting me financially my whole life until like 4 years ago (I’m 29 btw) 🥰
I’d be done working as soon as the ink dries. Retirement just means I get to do what I want to because I want to.. not because I have to. Freedom to fail in new endeavors..
Most definitely would.
