Bain salary negotiation: just received an offer from Bain as an experienced Consultant (18 months post-MBA). Can I negotiate base salary? Technically I’m an industry/experience hire but the offer seemed more firm, similar to a standard MBA salary offer. Any thoughts on whether this is a good/bad idea? For reference, I’d be taking a 5% cut in base to join.

Just got promoted to L9 Consultant @ Accenture in the SAP Practice. Do not have salary/bonus info yet, but good leadership and direction of my work moving forward.

Current consultant in law school part time. I make 83k rn at Deloitte. When I get to my next level this fall, it’ll be around 95k. By the time I graduate in a few years, I’ll most likely be making 120-140k. I love law and want to pursue this, but law school might be a waste if I don’t get into big law (which is already so slight) since I’m part time and not in a T14. I feel like any other salary in the legal field I’d receive at that time would be lower than what I would already be making at D.

1. Take a MS CRM consultant position in EY India Consulting wing for around 12lpa(11fixed and remaining bonus)
2. Take a MS CRM software developer role in Veripark India for 14lpa(fixed).
Both for same location and with both having development based work with EY being a mix of MSCRM and powerapps whereas Veripark being a MSCRM based dev work on their own product Veritouch.

So I was approached by a recruiter for a job where I’d be a W2, hourly, contract worker on behalf of the company. The pay is currently double my salary and the company i’d be working for as a consultant is very well respected. What are the pros and cons? It sounds to good to be true and finally something that would pay me for the work I’m doing (they said no PTO but that it just translates to unpaid vacation).
