Delta Plat status, if I book a flight for myself and my SO, are we both eligible for the immediate comfort+ upgrade? If not, should I just buy basic tickets for both instead of “main”?

Realistically how many points/miles does it actually take to take a trip somewhere exotic and pay next to nothing? If you have experience / knowledge on the matter please try to share type of points too (Chase UR, Amex MR, Delta Sky Pesos, etc)

Resigning from my job and have about 75k points on a corporate Amex. I don’t believe I am able to transfer these point to any of Amex’s free card options (since those are all cash back rewards). Is my best bet to transfer them to Delta at a 1:1 rate?

Lost sense of maximizing points/mileage value for int’l flights. Why is Detla redeeming so much more for some routes than Chase UR and even other partner airlines? E.g. non-stop economy btw Detroit-Seoul // Delta redeeming 160k on its own route while Chase UR 123k & Korean Air 80k for same route (code share)... I get it all depends on timing but still weird directly using Delta Skymiles on its own Delta route is more expensive than going through other methods....

Receiving an inheritance soon that is mostly stock. One of the largest holdings is down around $300k total still (my share is split with 2 others) from the March crash. My attorney says they usually recommend liquidating. But that means there’s still a big delta that could grow tax free. The stock is TFC (Truist Financial). I just took my first flight in 5 months to go on PTO. Went to Cancun and felt safer there than at home. I flew Delta and Jetblue and they are blocking middle seats and their cleaning procedures are good, everyone with masks - i would not fly American

Has anyone flown anywhere recently? I took a couple flights this past week and flew United, Delta and American and was disgusted with how poorly American is handling COVID. Delta and United both had procedures that made me feel as safe as I could on a flight given the circumstances but AA made zero effort to implement any kind of safety procedures. The flight was packed, boarding was a mess with zero social distancing measures and it didn’t seem like proper sanitization was done between flights.

I flew for the first time at the weekend and felt comfortable doing it even though I was so nervous before. I flew delta because I knew they’d leave the middle seat blocked and picked a flight which was empty. It was an a321 and maybe had 50 people on it! Super impressed.
