Senior dev working alone in an office, everybody is remote. Thinking of moving to PHX to be fully remote myself, currently in LA. Lower COL. Change to buy house. I like heat. Thoughts? Why? Why not?

So how does the Uber PIN thing work at LGA? Whenever I request an UBER there, it just connects me with a driver. I don’t get a PIN for the cars queuing up.

Hey DFW, TX folks. We're going through comp and merit raises, I suspect you all are too. This is the first year we're using pay ranges from payscale. I am completely surprised of how low compensation is in TX. For any of you that have visibility to pay ranges what is your experience with pay ranges for your company?
