Senior Manager pay at B4 Audit in SG?

I have got an offer from TCS with 50% hike.. Later after one month got another offer with Big 4 at 100% hike
. My current company is trying to retain me with a 42% hike on my current CTC. Can anyone help me with the decision that i should take here.

Should I jump from B4 to Embark? Anyone heard of Embark before?

Do any of the Big 4 offer contract jobs/any type of positions where I could just do FDD work but not be client facing? I don’t mind the data crunching and report writing, but not interested in the client relationship aspect of the job, leading mgmt meetings, buyer calls, etc. Would rather just do the type of work that offshore teams do even if that means taking a pay cut. I have no interest in doing this long-term and just need something to make $ while I figure out what I want to do.

About to accept an offer to move from audit to FDD as an experienced analyst at a non-B4. Any thing I should consider that would potentially change my mind? Anyone have regrets leaving audit?

Currently a financial reporting manager in industry but want to consider going back to big 4, just not in audit. Is FAAS/CMAAS/AAS my only choice? What else is there?

Currently from mainland Europe. Offer from capco at senior, also offer from big 4 as a manager. Both within data n analytics - and in London. I’m interested in strategy (want to branch out into digital strategy in the future) based work and haven’t heard the best things about capco. Can u guys pls give some opinions. Advice needed - A family friend with a successful tax practice is getting ready for retirement. They reached out to see if I wanted to join and eventually take on the practice. I am a CPA and recently promoted to senior at a big 4. I work on corporate compliance and provisions and their practice is primarily 1040 work. I’m not sure if I want to be client serving for my entire career and if I want to switch to individual tax.

Can someone explain how PwC Rx works? I just picked up my refill and paid almost 2.5 times than I paid first time. And yes, pharmacist was shoked and reenter card #, and we looked for promocode.... What is wrong with PwC insurance? Why is such a garbage?

There is much administration such as billing and meetings at Big 4. This time is not billable and it takes up about 25% of my time. My question is whether there is a significant portion of this done at other non- Big 4 public accounting firms? Trying to understand if this is a Big 4 expectation only or it will be the same at all firms.

I’ve always been a mentor when it comes to navigating through college, landing a job at a big 4 firm or anywhere in general.

I’m in the phase of my life where I want to start an online business or side hustle. I’ve researched and experimented with different things and it’s really hard to execute or stay consistent. I realized now that it’s me who needs a mentor, someone who can help me accomplish this goal and mentor me. The question is, how do I find the right mentor? 😭

Big 4 and MBB engagement managers (helping with scheduling etc.) , the average salary is $120k. Does that sound right? Seems very high since it's up there with audit manager salary.

Has anyone moved from Big 4 to a Tier 2 because they wanted to reset, go down a level (but hopefully getting paid more), build up new skills and become a better consultant with more interesting work ? If so I’d love to hear your story :)
