Left consulting about 18 months ago, feel kind of bored/stagnant. Considering going back, don’t want weekly travel but don’t mind some travel. 12 years experience, MBA looking for strategy side of house. How are things post Covid at accenture and big 4 travel wise?

Hi y’all, I applied to a FT consulting role for big 4 firm and the recruiter reached out to me to set up an interview. Following the call I was informed that the position has been put on hold by the client and that HR would let me know if there are any updates. Its been 4 weeks since, is all hope lost for an interview?

Does B4 “water down” their titles compared to other consulting firms? Seeing a lot of directors floating around at other firms but assuming that’s just like SC or M for B4…

My package started from 4.5+1.5bonus to 6.15 now after appraisal

What should be my next move? Can I switch to Data Engineering or what do people generally do with this "Big 4" tag but not a very good experience?

Does anyone have advice on the hours typically worked at CFGI? I'm currently in a senior manager role with the expectation to be TMD in the next two years - however, given staffing issues and the politics of the firm, I'm looking for a switch.

After reflecting long about which B4 service line to pick, I end up thinking "rentier" would be my preferred choice. Someone know how to join it?

General thought: Being proud of your job and wanting to do well in accounting shouldn't be frowned upon as it commonly is. People in the industry tend to criticize others who seem to "care" or take "too much" pride in their work given the general sentiment about life in B4 but I think as long as that accountability is self motivated ("I want to do good to impress myself") rather than "I really want to impress my boss" it should be encouraged not made fun of
