KPMG FB's- what is the salary range for Cyber Services (Advisory) Senior Associate with 4 of 6 years consulting outside of Big 4? CISSP if relevant

Anyone here pass the CISSP? Any advice?

Any suggestions how to get my foot in the door of a cyber practice ? I've been in IT Audit for about a year and 4 months. I'm in the process of taking the CISSP exam as well.

CISSP certified folks: What's the avg time prepare and practice for the actual exam?

So I take the CISSP exam soon and I'm not sure how much of the content is actually testable.. I'm not sure that they can cover all of the material in 250 questions.. Any insight anyone ? Thanks!

I’ve been doing internal audits including IT audits, business process/operational audits, and SOX controls for almost 10 years and am currently a director. Recently I’ve been exposed to a lot of cybersecurity related internal audits and I’m considering making a switch to cyber. What’s the typical career path and salary range for cyber professionals? And is the CISSP certification difficult to obtain?

I have $2000 use or lose towards CISSP study material. Aside from books and one-time boot camps, any self-paced/online courses you recommend?

Hi! Want to show my commitment, enterprise and dedication to a pivot to cyber. Seek advice. 20 YOE Communications/research and consulting background. Earned Security+ and CIPP/US. Aspire to CISSP, but know I qualify only for associate (ISC)2 member until 5 years in industry. Can't seem to get to job offer stage landing first role. Should I strive to get CISSP now, even though I can't list it formally until I achieve the required industry experience? Thanks.

Curious about general opinions on whether having CASP+ versus CISSP certification in an Info Systems Security Officer role is acceptable. I don’t see many job posts highlight the CASP+ certification for higher cybersecurity roles in companies.

If you want to become an executive or get promoted in cyber, is it worth it to get CISSP or CISM? I’m sure it would help and not hurt but just wondering if it’s worth it to put in effort into getting those certifications or better to focus on networking and building leadership skills?

Just passed the CCNA but I guessed a lot and don't feel confident that I know the material. I feel like they gave me the cert. I felt the same way about my SEC+ and CISSP. I wish I got instant feedback on the questions before going to the next one.

What does EY pay for SC in cyber? I have 5 YOE and my CISSP. I'm currently an SC2 at Deloitte so I'm not leaving for another SC role, but for the right price the title won't matter.

What is the best book to study for the CISSP? There are plenty of websites with recommendations but the top ones are never consistent.
