I've been at mid size growing healthcare strategy consulting firm for the past two years (post MBA) and have seen rapid growth and am expecting a EM equivalent role here in the next six months.
However I understand that my comp is below market - 30% below MBB and 10-15% below ZS/LEK.
I'm in the part of my life that I think I should prioritize $, but am concerned about the work-life balance impact. Do you think that the work load actually scales with pay?

Is putting other as your race on an MBA application a disadvantage? I don’t identify with any other options on the given list of races.

How do you identify “burnout?” Pre-MBA, I used to be a high performer at my old job, but now since I have started my Consulting role post-MBA (after 2 years of a mostly remote MBA) I am really, really struggling. Not only have I been making a lot of stupid mistakes, but I have also been waking up dreading going to work, hating myself and in general really disliking the job. I want to quit and move back in with my parents. Is this burnout? Could my career recover if I did nothing for a few years?

Hello, I have attempted CAT and i have messed up the exam , i am planning to give CAT again next year but i don't want to be dependent on same thing again. since we have employees from all the reputed companies, this is my straight question: Is MBA really necessary to get a very high package and position in an organization? I want to work in companies like BCG McKinsey Bain ... But i have noticed that they mostly hire MBAs in high impact roles. Please guide me on this. Thanks

Is getting an MBA at a Top 7 school essentially as rigorous as getting an undergraduate degree in Art? I felt like I could sleep through business courses and wake up with an A. Just a much better ROI for the network opp.

What are the chances of boomeranging back to MBB if I left within 1 year of joining? (Did not leave due to performance reasons)
