Anyone at IQVIA successfully join without a pharma background? MBA, 15 YoE w/ 6 in healthcare project management. Some clinical trial support but not deep. Interested in Associate Business Ops & Capabilities Director or Senior Consultant roles. How senior are Director roles here?

I see ample people stressing about admissions into an MBA program. I'd like to share how I have joined a dual MSE & MBA program without taking any entrance exams. Here is how. You can bypass this process by talking directly to the admissions office and saying, "I'd like to enroll in classes. I'm not in a program, I just want to take a class." They will say yes and let you into a class as non-traditional student. Take the class, ace it, then ask to be moved into the program afterwords.

Alright, KPMG jokes aside. How much of a shot do I have as a people and change consultant if I were to apply to McKinsey? I have 5 YOE as an A & SA at KPMG and an MBA concentrated in Managing People & Change.

Has anyone been able to "write beautifully," "poignantly," or "powerfully" for any schools' applications to tell your story and make yourself seem like an interesting applicant?

I've been told that my writing moves people, but the word counts are so low that the only schools where I think I can write multiple powerful poignant sentences are Haas and Yale, and maybe Tuck and Duke. For the post-MBA career goals and other schools, I'm struggling to write even 1-2 poignant sentences.

What's more valuable for fed consulting: MBA or MPA?

Thoughts on an offer from AlixPartners for VP in Investigations, Privacy, Compliance in a tier 2 market- initial salary offer was $130k. Anyone know typical range?

So I am now in a top MBA and going into a tier1/MBB consulting firm.
I started my career in my families business we’re I worked really hard but did not feel very appreciated. I ended up leaving to live with my partner in another country and tried to enter investment banking knowing that I wanted to get an MBA. I had to take an internship and then got hired by a bank, soon enough I got fired but hired by a Big 4 ( start of covid) ended up getting laid off.

How hard is the post-MBA MBB to LMM PE route? What about UMM and MF?

Is it ok if I change my job mid 2023 if I want to apply for an MBA in fall 2023 ? I want to change my firm because of the pay, but I would get decent recommendation letters from here I think.
My current firm also does not sponsor MBAs.

Currently job hunting. I know a few retired C-level executives who tell me that they would hire me at the director level in pretty much any role (despite currently being an individual contributor) because I'm extremely driven, a life-long learner, a natural leader, and deeply educated in diverse fields (PhD in engineering and MBA in analytics). However, I can't seem to land a senior role. How do I convince an executive to take a gamble on me based on my past success and strong future potential?

Currently an engineer in MCOL area with 4 years experience (post graduating, not counting experience before/during college and large side gigs). I have a BS/MS/PhD in engineering and an MBA in business analytics. Currently making 100k as an engineer IV. As an engineer with a functional knowledge (but no former training) in IT and data analytics, what are the best avenues to get to 200k without changing fields and starting at an entry level position (or moving to a HCOL area)?

I would be on CPT by early next YEAR. After my second semester at the school. Currently taking MBA and has a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering. Has 10+ YOE in SWE and 5YOE in PM. Can anyone refer me? I really need a job as my savings starts to drain out.

I have a full-time gig that requires about 20 hours a week to get my work done from home and I make great money (140k total comp with 2 yrs experience) I have so much time even after requesting more work from my manager. I know that recruiting now is slow and most of the firms are on a hiring freeze, but are there firms who are currently making the exception and are still actively hiring for some reasons?
