2YOE post-MBA, Head of BizOps at Series A startup for $220k--what do you think?

MBA and and MSN. Looking to get into strategy consulting. Any advice?

I am working as a Product manager in a fleet management startup and want to make a switch. I have total 5.5 years of experience of which 3.5 years have been post MBA and in roles of product owner/Manager. Currently, I have fixed 29LPA and looking for a switch. I seek 42LPA while talking to recruiters but have not been getting interview calls. I don't want to switch unless I get at least 40 fixed. Reason of switch: domain change(e comm or Healthcare). Seeking advice

Can someone please tell if it is possible to switch from sap consulting to strategy or management consulting without an MBA ? If yes, how ?

I have almost 5 years of proposal management, bid management and project management experience under my belt. I am a very fast learner and open to cater almost anything for the employer. I am proficient in all the technical aspects of a project management, got verified certifications from Microsoft (SQL), Oracle (Primavera P6 Professional) and many more. I know data analysis, constructing ML models using python.

Is getting MBA worth it if I don’t plan on changing careers but simply want a boost in compensation? I believe firms pay MBA hires more and promote them faster despite them doing the same job I am currently doing. I would be taking out loans 100%. Currently making $150k base in HCOL with 6 YOE, MS in accounting and CPA license.

How do you guys pay for MBA’s? Do people really take out that much in loans? I’m sure some firms sponsor but not all of them are really going to make a dent in your loan amount

Curious on how frequently people are "outed" in the up or out program. Pretty rigorous interview along with prestigious, and I'm assuming, high performing undergrad/MBA. Is it just because everyone is the top x% and therefore competition is insane?

Advice on how to make a transition from a back office (reporting/accounting) role to middle/front office? I’m already at Blackstone so it seems weird to leave and get an MBA, but I’m unhappy and bored with my day-to-day and not sure what to do, since ultimately BX is where I’d want to end up post-MBA

Thoughts on getting an MBA in life sciences? I work at a life sciences strategy consulting firm and am looking ahead to a promotion to a post-MBA role in the next year or so (my company doesn’t require getting an MBA). I enjoy my job/team and focusing in healthcare and don’t feel the need to pivot yet, but I also don’t think I see myself as a lifetime consultant. I feel like a majority of executive/senior roles in biopharma/med devices or in VC have a PhD/MD/MBA. What are your thoughts?
