My current package is 20 lpa with 17.5 fixed working as a project manager iwth 10.5 yrs of expeirence and i have offer from capgemini and a product based company of 32 lpa & 29 lpa as ctc respectively. I am not able to convince other companies despite having the offer in hand for them to give me 36 lpa which was my original expectation. I have done PMP and I have a good experience of handling a team of 64 at a time. Can someone please guide me here.?

Hi all. I have a referral question. Long story short, I waited too long to apply for a SA role. I wanted to pass my PMP first (which I did on Friday) and went to apply to the role yesterday to see that it got taken down. I do have a friend who can refer me but does she have to wait for another posting to come up before she refers me? Or can she do it with an existing posting and I’ll get an internal link that isn’t attached to a specific posting? Did I lose my chance?

What salary should I expect/ask for if I decide to switch? I think I am being underpaid right now. Please suggest.

I earned my PMP a few weeks back because it felt like the thing I was supposed to do. I'm sort of annoyed I had to shell out the money for the test fee and now all the credits to keep it going forward. Better get me a solid pay jump down the line!

Does a non-tech PMO candidate can also achieve 30-50 LPA in just 5-6 years of experience as you technical people are achieving.

Please also suggest, should I continue in this PMO and go for PMP, Prince2 then try or just learn some technical things and then can only expect this much package?

Background: 5+ years of work experience in worked on IT Audits (SOX). CISA certified.
Looking for a certification that can help me transition into more technical areas such as Data Privacy/Cyber (not Pentesting)/ Cloud security.
Completely baffled by the variety of certifications
(CCSK, SSCP, PMP, CIPT, CIPP/E, CAP, CISM, etc) out there and not sure which one to pick given my experience and the areas I want to transition into.

I have a meeting today with my direct manager, what’s the best approach to say I want to remain competitive in salary as I’ve been screwed over in the past with previous companies without sounding pretentious?
