What is the tipping etiquette on the free platinum breakfast in a JW Marriott? The server just gets coffee / orange juice and you serve yourself. It is an overpriced buffet that I would never dine in.

Almost 4 weeks in and my status is still wrong. It was correct for the first ~1 day and then bumped down a level. Shouldn’t be hard as all my nights last year were SPG. This is ridiculous.

Arrived at a SPG property last week and had email confirmation and booking in the app but hotel didn’t have it - manager blamed merger IT issues, anybody else experienced this recently?

Having to call Marriott to apply a suite night award to an SPG hotel on a reservation you made before the merger and combining accounts proves to you how much is still SO WRONG with this merger.

FYI - Just went on the Marriott website and selected the option to combine both spg and Marriott accounts. All stays and details updated. Past history to be updated in 48 hours. Get it done folks!!

I was forcefully released from HCL services saying my BGV is not clear and was released the very same day. Now I am being asked to pay for basic salary of 89 days notice period +18% GST.. WHAT TO DO PLEASE HELP. I am being asked to pay 1,65,000/- and I was forced to leave HCL in 22 days.

What are first steps to building a real estate portfolio? I want to have at least 50% of my income be passive by the time I’m 30. I’m 24yo now, have saved up some, don’t have student loans or any debt. I have two brothers who is helping with college though and really need to be creative. I'm at a career juncture and have decided on a career in anti-money laundering as my new path. I'm also highly interested in additional education to further my career and am eyeing graduate school. Which is best? A law degree or a master's in international relations? Those are where my interests lie. I keep reading that JDs are valued in compliance but am wondering if a different graduate program is better for my goals. I already plan to obtain the CAMS certification. Thank you!
