I am working as a consultant at a big-4 company in deal advisory.
Should i hide that i didn't pass CFA level 1 when on the interview for other consultancy firm?
Should i write something in CV? I plan to opt again in May 2022. I know that i can mention that I'm CFA level 1 candidate (may 2022)

Have an interview at Accenture coming up soon - consists of several interviews directly with MDs (resume, cases, closing—if successful). They’ll assign a job level (consultant, manager, senior manager) based on the interviews. I’m trying to gauge what base and TC ranges I’m looking at. It’s a niche practice within and I have 15+ YOE in this niche area. Would appreciate any guidance or data points.

Interviewing for a tech and analytics consultant position, and the travel requirement says 30-50% travel requirement after return to office (currently 100% remote). Practically, what does 30-50% mean?

since 80% is the norm so wondering if they are just underselling the travel

Accepted an offer at a regional bank, at-will employment. Jr most role in structured products but hiring manager was keen to hv me on board, new area to explore.

I have an informational interview with a senior person at a PE fund tomorrow (fellow alum). Currently prepping and coming up with questions to ask him about the industry/fund. I have a SA FDD offer with Grant Thornton that’s offering $97k base. Also interviewing for a Senior Consultant position with FTI consulting in their OCFO solutions practice (Corporate Finance and Restructuring). Made it past the first two interviews, one of them technical, so I’d really have to collapse to mess up getting an offer at this point. The issue is I’ll have to get an extension on accepting GT’s offer. Is waiting for FTI worth it? Insights on salary comp, WLB, etc. is appreciated!!

Also, any idea about how many interviews rounds are required? Read on a post from last year that there are two interviews with SMs for anything below manager. Manager and above would require interviewing with a partner. Any insight on if this is still valid?

I interviewed for Deloitte USI for Consultant role. Received pre-hire survey mail and filled all the details. HR called to discuss regarding the salary and told My role has been changed to Analyst- Full Stack Java Developer. I have counter offer of 11LPA and he said he couldn’t give me more than 10 LPA that will also be too much. I asked him to give me time to think and asked to mail him for further discussion.

I’m an Analytics Consultant looking for industry roles as a data analyst/BI Developer. I’ve had a few recruiters and job postings ask directly for a dashboard sample. I obviously can’t give them anything I’ve worked on because of client’s proprietary data and NDAs. Has anyone run into this problem before? Did you end up making a dashboard with public data solely for industry interviews?

Recently applied to consultant at BCG with Canada offices as first and second preference and middle east as third (with a 15% interest).

Recently got an interview invite for middle east but nothing for Canada. I'd love to work for BCG but I'd love to be able to do so in Canada. Where do I go from here? Can I request HR to change office or would that make it seem like I'm not interested?

Long shot but worth a try I guess - I have interviewed with McKinsey a few months back and have offers from two T2s. Had a consultant level referral at BCG in March for ATL office but didn't get an interview. Is anyone from BCG, preferably PL and above, willing to connect and chat to see if there is a fit for a referral? The reason I mentioned my past interviews is to establish some credibility because I come from a non traditional background.

Trying to get out of appraisal/valuation consulting. Just had 1st round phone interview with a smallish (international) real estate private equity firm for a Portfolio Management Analyst position. Previous roles were Senior Consultant at a sub-Big 4 accounting/consulting firm. Base pay is $10K higher with 20-30% bonuses. Is this a good move?

My self confidence has been thrashed.
Can someone help me with a better plan/ strategy for the upcoming interviews.

I’m a senior consultant with 3 YOE and the places I’m interviewing are putting me in the 105k-115k comp range. I make 101k now so I feel like this isn’t enough, especially with the raises we’re due for this October. Am I overestimating what I should be paid?
