BCG fish I need advice. Currently interviewing for a Consultant level role, they mentioned it was generalist track and it’s located in the south region. If I have experience and an affinity to work within healthcare would I be able to network and get staffed on healthcare engagements regardless of region? Don’t want to get stuck in energy work or another industry if that’s what ends up happening. Boston Consulting Group
I’m an engineer with 6yoe in Oil/Gas and looking to pivot into consulting. Deloitte just posted Senior Consultant - Corporate Compliance & Operational Risk - Energy, Resources & Industrials. This seems like a good role to transition from engineering. Do referrals help get interviews at Deloitte and could someone refer?
Experience at ExxonMobil & Shell.
ZS Associates I have a final round of interviews coming up and one of them is a behavioral round conducted by an organizational psychologist. Any insights on what questions to expect would be really appreciated. Also what to expect on the unstructured case? Interviewing for SIP V&A consultant role. Thanks so much!
I am an experienced consultant (13 yoe) that has been interviewing with Boston Consulting Group for a project leader role. I have talked to several partners and managing directors which has gone well. Now I have to go through the case interviews. Any advice for someone at my level to clear the case interviews?
I have two pending offers. Hoping for some insight on the WLB, Culture, benifits, leadership, career trajectory? NOT the money
Accenture: L9 - Consultant (WFH) $132K base + 27K signon. Interviewed for an M but got downleveled. (I live in a reasonable cost of living city, estimates put it 35% cheaper than Seattle)
Amazon: L6 - Sr Program Manager role (Seattle) 135K base, 70K signon over 2 years, $110K RSUs.
I’m already a manager with 5yoe, so feeling ACN is downleveling. Coming from Industry!
Interviewed for a SC role within S&A at Deloitte but the team came back and said they feel more comfortable bringing me in as a C. The salary would be comparable to what I’m making now. So, my question is: is the D brand worth making a lateral move for? The place I currently work is not as “prestigious”, but all-in-all it’s a good company and I have incredible WLB for a Consultant.
Deloitte Monitor Deloitte 🐠 I’m interviewing for a senior consultant/manager role is the S&A practice (Transformation Strategy & Design). Can you provide any guidance on what to expect for the case? Is it likely a more typical market size & profitabilty case? Something more advanced? Or project based? I had a two project based interviews when I was expecting more traditional market size/profitability and it threw me off a little bit. Any advice/guidance helps. I’ve been studying like crazy.
