I bought a house in the suburbs of Chicago at the top of the market. I ended up moving out of state in 2017 and short-selling. I am now interviewing for a VP Accounting role with the mortgage company that got shafted by the short sale. If I get the job offer, can they/will they see this on my credit report? Can they pull the offer due to this? Should I tell them before we advance further?

Anyone know anything about the interviewing process for a monetization role at LinkedIn? I Have an interview tomorrow and want to be prepared. I tried Glassdoor, but got nothing.

Please suggest any good sources to prepare for data engineer interviews in GCP, Python, SQL, Pyspark. I have worked only in a few tools in GCP and done basic coding in pyspark and above average in SQL, but need to be prepared to handle all questions to grab some offer. YouTube has lot of resources but confused on which one to start with. I have an interview this Tuesday in another 2 days.

For in-house counsel roles, does firm prestige matter? For example, would the fact that an applicant is from Sullivan & Cromwell vs, say, White & Case matter at all, or is it much more about experience/interview? Does it matter as much as law school credentials? Assuming a mid-level corporate associate seeking to go in-house.

I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. Did I lose my chances at BCG north America by giving a preference for middle east?

Recently applied to consultant at BCG with Canada offices as first and second preference and middle east as third (with a 15% interest).

Recently got an interview invite for middle east but nothing for Canada. I'd love to work for BCG but I'd love to be able to do so in Canada. Where do I go from here? Can I request HR to change office or would that make it seem like I'm not interested?

How is SAP SDC for SAP Consultants?
I have offers from CG, IBM & SAP India. So, please suggest which will be better to join.
PS- IBM is paying100% more than my current organisation.
SAP has not released my offer yet but I had an interview with VP and he said he is impressed with me and will release the offer letter soon but they have not negotiated for my salary. The buyout is projecting 8.9x cash on cash returns and IRR of ~53%. Entry valuation $5M (3.2x ARR), expected exit valuation $24.8M (5x ARR). Currently 38% ebitda margin, forecasted 55% in exit year - 5 year holding period

The minimum is $50k. Is it dumb to spin up an SPV with a few friends to invest in this? I know the GP of the acquiring firm.

I cant afford to live in NY anymore and need to move bc my landlord is selling the house.

I don't think I have enough time to buy a home. I have less than 2 months to move.

I think relocating is my best option and just renting something in Denver, CO or Tampa, Fla. I'm an early 30s f and would be living alone.

I would prefer a townhouse if possible, but it seems harder to find them so far.
