Hello there audit folks! Anybody considering a shift to financial due diligence? Happy to discuss opportunities at EY, please DM me if interested. We are really looking for folks with healthcare or tech experience and can move extremely quickly during the interview process. I've been in the group for years and transitioned as a senior so can share the positives and negatives.

Any insight into EY’s IFCS practice? Thinking of applying to their open staff role from another firm, I’d be transferring out of audit.

Mid-level associate at a mid-size regional insurance defense firm practicing coverage litigation. Salary is capped b/c my firm only does I.D./coverage and has no direct-hire comm clients. Second round of interviews with a comm lit boutique where I would be the only associate with 5 partners. Other than partner track, salary/benefits, and switching from coverage to general comm lit, what qualities of the move should I be thinking about as I weigh my options? I've never worked at another firm.

For in-house counsel roles, does firm prestige matter? For example, would the fact that an applicant is from Sullivan & Cromwell vs, say, White & Case matter at all, or is it much more about experience/interview? Does it matter as much as law school credentials? Assuming a mid-level corporate associate seeking to go in-house.
