Senior Consultant in Deloitte US applying to EY UK’s Consulting Practice, and I’m trying to decide what level I should be targeting. SC at Deloitte is about 5YOE and I have 5.5 in total. Also seen Assistant Manager on a few profiles and wondering how it differs from SC. Thanks in advance!

Has anyone received a job offer after being initially ghosted by recruiter? How long did you not hear from them? Feeling down after not hearing anything for 2 weeks after a round of seemingly promising interviews.

Next week I’m having my first lateral interview as a junior associate. I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. However, I am very, very interested in transitioning to this practice. And I reaaally want this job because it’s at my dream firm. How would you recommend preparing for the lateral interview?

I had recently attended the interview at IQVIA for sql developer position, but when I received the offer letter the designation mentioned there is "Software engineer- technical operations 130'.

Just wanted to know if this is some kind of a production support role.

Can anyone please help me understand this?

Planning a one-week summer vacation to Yellowstone Park area. Family unit of 6, so need to rent a single, large SUV. Just landed a full time gig, looking to get some furniture so I’m not working on my parents’ kitchen table during this remote period. Any recommendations for desks and chairs? I’m hoping to find something that’s easy to assemble and break down for when I need to move, and something that won’t cost an arm and a leg.

I know everyone has a different kind of setup that works for them. I currently have a laptop, drawing pad, second monitor, and a desk riser.

I am an individual contributor with ~8 years of experience and a strong track record. I enjoy my work, but am getting a little burnt out being directly customer facing. I also want a bigger seat at the table. I am not the most natural people manager, but want to push myself and take on a new challenge.
What can I do to position myself for this?

Joining Deloitte in 2weeks. What Deloitte send laptop, do they send extra monitor, keyboard and mouse? Or does it need to be purchased using $1000 productivity subsidy? And do we need to use Amex card to purchase and then reimburse?
