Interviewing at PwC. Is it normal for a SA role (internal services) to have a salary of 70-75k?

Series C start up offer and they gave me two salary choices:

- 90k with 10,000 stock options
- 99k with 5,000 stock options

What do y’all think?

I started my career in consulting in the middle of the pandemic making 72k. 1.5 years later I’ve accepted a Data Science position making 155k TC. Thank you to fishbowl for providing me the kick in the pants I needed to find my worth.

I work as a consultant for a small HR consulting service in Ontario, Canada. Our owner/president wants us to hit a revenue target of $1m this year. The closest we’ve come is $800k in 2019. We also noticed that in 2019 we hit our highest revenue but did the fewest overall client work for that year. In 2020 and 2021 we did more client work but fell short of $800k revenue. Our avg rev per client is $2500, with a lot of single projects @ $500. Does it makes sense to increase our prices?

Let’s say I close condo on Monday, and then a huge natural disaster happen on Thursday, or the same month, making $$$ damage to the building — Am I immediately responsible for the full special assessment bill? Is there any clause that can protect me a bit in my buying process apart from insurance?

Hi everyone! Idk if I need advice or I’m venting but I’ve been looking for jobs actively right now and want to make a switch soon. There’s a gap in terms or compensation for the jobs I’m being approached for. These jobs offer the same compensation I’m at or slightly higher (5-7%). This is demotivating and I honestly don’t know what to do. I don’t make an awful lot (105K in NYC) and I’m looking for a 20-30% bump in terms of compensation. Am I crazy here?

What to do if your SM is not competent and you feel project is falling behind? Can't really go to MD bc he has relationship with the SM. Also doesn't sound good coming from a consultant. Do I just need to work extra harder?
