Need some advice. Currently at 73k and I got an offer for 80k from a cyber security consultant position at a start up. I negotiated up to 85k which is around 16% increase and they said that is the highest they could go. They added that you do get equity after 6 months but it isn't in the offer letter. From your experience, is there any additional wiggle room? How reliable is "all employees get equity" without it in writing? Currently a SAP associate consultant (approaching 1 yr out of college) and really want to get out.
