Any Scimitar 🐠 or folks familiar with Scimitar? A colleague at EY just accepted a role there and claims the total comp is 40% more than his total comp at EY and he was at the very top of the senior consultant pay band as an MBA hire. The folks on LinkedIn look like a bunch of former PwCers.

Guys - looking for some guidance in negotiating one level up than senior consultant position. With over 13 years of experience and of which last 5 years in management consulting, I have been offered a senior consultant position with a small strategy consulting firm in tmt space ( small - 450 people globally). I am looking to see if I can negotiate for manager position. The position will make me move from low cost city to New York.

Folks I am really confused, please advice
I accepted a role as Senior cybersecurity consultant with GT yesterday. I had another offer from Capgemini and the hiring manager in my call today with her offered to bump up my base by 10K and gave me option to work totally remote.
Just to give you all some perspective, Capgemini clients is in ICS/OT space whereas GT has not specified where they plan to place me but said they have many security engagements in pipeline.

Hey guys I am moving from a small consultancy as a business analyst. I have been offered a role as a consultant at Deloitte Digital and they’re offering £50k core salary. I am also in the final stage for capgemini which i’m 90% sure i’m getting but they’re offering around £60k (i think i’ve sort of forgotten). But my question is will Deloitte increase the offer amount? is it negotiable? I think my mistake when they first asked me what my salary expectations would be i said 50k.

Could a case still be made for an M7 MBA if one has directly promoted to the MBB post-MBA role? I wanted an MBA but am lateraling to Bain PEG and will be one year away from Consultant promo. At that point, what jobs would be worth recruiting for from M7? PE? VC? Would I need H/S/W for it to be worth it?

I'm stuck here with low pay and with no idea on how to go ahead.

Genuinely looking for insights. Home grown consultant (SM3) and don’t see myself doing this forever. While a ton of exit opportunities exist, H1-B transfer seems to the biggest road block (approved I-140; not looking for other consulting options; open to FAANG and healthcare industry roles) Solid Openings / roles that are appropriate for my experience have stayed away from even taking the next step given the immigration situation. How have folks dealt with this? Any tips or advise?

I have worked 8+ years in HR and Staffing for the EPC industry - looking to make a move to the consulting industry. I'm in advanced stages of interviews with Deloitte for a Human Capital (GPS) Senior Consultant role and with PwC for a Resource/Deployment Manager position. They are two completely different roles and I think I could be happy in either - any insight from current HC Consultants/Managers at Deloitte or Resource/Deployment Managers at PwC? Positives/Negatives?

Got an offer from GE Appliances , Capgemini and DXC which organization would be better to join .GE appliances and DXC is offering the same CTC where as Capgemini is a bit lesser
GE Appliances is offering an role of cloud Engineer and Capgemini is offering as Associate Consultant.

Just got an offer a Deloitte Consultant position and the HR recruiter said base pay will be in the low 90k with no wiggle room. Also currently interviewing with Accenture and the base pay ranges from 117-147k dependent on band.

Is Deloitte’s compensation not flexible at all? Any tips on what to do or how to navigate?
