Any insight into product operations manager at Uber? Targeting L5. Salary in t1 HCOL city.

If leaving as a manager at S&, what comp in terms of base / bonus should i realistically target? Currently at ~200k base with ~60-70k bonus. Want to exit to an industry role (can be tech or non-tech). Based in Texas.

Should I take this offer? Currently M2 tax manager at B4 based in BANW with just under 120k salary 6Yoe. The industry offer is base 30% increase + 15% bonus and 100k equity 4yr vesting. It's a SF based fintech company and the team seems great. It will be fully remote position. For many reasons I started looking outside of PA and this offer seems great. But now that I actually have an offer, I think I am a bit nervous now. Any inputs/words of encouragement would be appreciated.

Hiring manager had reached out to me before I met the others to provide addl background on everyone else I was meeting. Is it appropriate for me to ask the hiring manager for feedback here? This one hurt.

Anyone have insight into revenue accounting? I’m interviewing for a sr revenue accountant position and wondering if it’ll be too pigeonholed. I also have zero background in this type of accounting so it would be completely new to me, but the hiring manager didn’t seem to mind that I don’t have any experience in this area. I’m fed up with the hours and lack of support in public and want to leave before next busy season for context.

Need advice - I currently have 2.5-3 YOE (depending if u count internships) and $180 TC. I’ve recognized the pay is pretty high and industry jobs won’t come near it for my amount of experience. If I stay in consulting another ~2 years and get to Manager level by then, would industry firms be more open to hiring me for a $180-200k role? FWIW I’m mostly looking at healthcare non-pharma.

Role at Google is more of Program Manager - Strategy & Operations. Crypto role is from a data perspective - more of data remediation work which can become monotonous.

The project manager and recruiter reached out via LinkedIn and suggested to apply for a opening position as they thought I was fit for this position, filled up all the application and later the same recruiter reached out saying they are moving forward with other candidates 🤦‍♂️ why waste people’s time?

Experienced hire manager at big 4 only a couple months into my new role and seriously stressed out by the long hours, nonstop pace, and constant fires. Would these issues be as prevalent in tech? How soon can I switch without it hurting my resume? Its so bad my therapist is coaching me using trauma response methods she uses for her military and EMT clients.

Interviewed for a role and after speaking with the manager for it, I’m not that interested anymore solely on the manager alone. How do I message the recruiter (the manager too?) that I’m no longer interested but don’t necessarily want to cut ties with the company in case there are better roles in the future? BTW I’m happy in my current role now, was just curious about the company.

What’s the timeline for suffering through a role at your new firm before boomeranging back? How do you approach your old manager about returning? We still have a great relationship and there were no hard feelings about me leaving.
