What is a norm for equity compensation for a manager role at a startup with series c funding, aiming to go public in a year or so? What type of equity is more attractive at that stage?

If you’re at a boutique or T3, would you take an offer from a T2 with similar or somewhat better total comp, but at a lower level than you’re currently in? (eg, manager to SA/SC or SA to A)

I am a JD/LLM in M&A tax. I am considering a switch to big law. I am curious what the salary bands are for manager and senior manager to compare law firm vs big 4, 5 years down the line and 10 years down the line.

Offers at all 3 at manager level. Comp lowest at S&. EYP and OW are even. Would say strongest backgrounds were also by far OW and EYP. S& mentioned regular weekend work and 1am nights standard so leaning EYP or OW

Currently a Manager and thinking about getting a MBA. However, which scenario would provide the higher boost in total compensation:
1) If I did a part time MBA, would EY increase my base salary after I'm done with my program, if so by how much?
2) Or would it be better if I quit EY, did a full-time program and re-apply/find something better?

I'm in talks to be task lead/on-site project manager for a small contractor - non-technical/highly specialized subject matter, 5-10 direct reports. Requires 10 YOE, relevant master's, Top Secret. Any thoughts on salary I should be asking? I'd have to get $220k minimum to make it worth my while to jump, but skeptical they'll be able to offer that.

I’m in the process of making a career transition out of advertising to entertainment. I’m currently at $115k with $10k end of year bonus, $125K total.

The entertainment role is only $110k and the title would remain the same (Senior Manager).

Should I take the title and still being close to my base salary as a win or should I decline the role due to comp?

Is this a lowball? How do I negotiate ?

Current role: Newly promoted big 4 manager - $140K base + 10% annual bonus (estimated based on previous performance)
