What is the current scenario of work from home in TCS. I will be joining in Oct.
Please let me know.. as of I am in my native .
In IBM from past 3 yrs doing wfh.

I am a dual US/Canadian citizen, living in Canada. I have been applying to US remote roles for the last two mos and I’m in 2 final loops. Both companies told me I can be remote but I MUST be in the US. My mom has a US address. I told the companies that I split my time between both countries and I have a US address. They said no dice. I have to move and are offering relocation. Our life is built here and we have kids who just started school. Do I push my fam to move, or lie and say I did??

Any recruiters who recruit for in house positions? I am a commercial real estate attorney looking to switch to in house. I am located in LA. Would prefer a hybrid or even remote model.

Thoughts on loafers with no show socks to the office on a Friday? New to the firm and working remote so only been to the office once.

Do you all sit through the most part of the day, say 9 till 6 PM at a stretch in a work from home situation. Or is it just me? I feel so tired by the end of the day with the back to back meetings or email exchanges. I also think its important to stretch your legs in between but feel guilty being away from work; or mostly never get a chance to step away even for 10 mins.

Hi folks, I have a few Qs on BCN COE India (enterprise tech) -
1. How is the work culture there ? working hours ?
2. Do they give an offer on top of current CTC only (like 40-50% maximum), or they bump it up to match the base comp. of role ? (For ex- if a role has min. band of 20 LPA, and someone is at 12 LPA, will they offer 20 or 12+(40%12)) ?
3. Is Bonus a part of CTC ? Avg payout yearly?
4. What % average hikes are given YOY ?
5. Remote or in person work @office ?

Hello everyone, I need one suggestion from you all.I am working as a web developer and to whom I am thinking of getting married is a PSI (police sub inspector) in a different city. His job location will change in future as per the transfer policy of police.I have to ask if I will get married to him i.e government employee and will take permanent work from home..will it get impacted on my career? I am genuinely confused if I should trust my local Manager who also happens to be head of my department. I had multiple offers in hand and joined the current company on condition that it will be remote work. I was originally hired for offshore team and I loved the manager, We both are good fit for each other. Now comes the twist, a new local resource was hired here in India to overlook Indian requirements. As we both are in the same field she was made my local manager.

Managing international remote team ceremonies - help!

I recently started a new lead product role. I sit 2 hours behind our HQ and 12 hours behind our India based teams. I feel like I’ve been baited into a schedule I didn’t agree to during the interviews/offer.

My standups are at 6:30 am. By 2:00 pm I’m mentally drained because of all the meetings and lack of morning preparation time/working out is slipping (summer heat) which impacts my productivity. Suggestions?
