I’m scheduling a remote team across 6 time zones. Is there a program to make this less of a headache?

I received an offer from Orange Business Services with 17LPA CTC with no wfh option. I may have to relocate to a new location. They do have some relocation policy. My current ctc is 11 LPA with permanent wfh option and other allowances for shifts and holidays.

Is this a good offer compared to my current ctc and also is orange business a good company?

Trying to make an official request for full remote for my firm (already very flexible, we pretty much do whatever we want and I’m mostly remote) based on a health accommodation. I don’t mind submitting it but can HR request my medical records so they have it officially on record in this kind of instance (regardless of HPAA)?

I'm being asked to return to the office. I was hired as a contractor for a remote position and then hired on as a permanent employee. I was told I would continue to work remotely but that was not mentioned in my offer letter. I'm now required to commute 1and 1/2 hours one way to the office 5 days a week. Should I ask for a pay increase to offset the cost of this added expense? Should I point out how valuable I am to the team and how losing me would be unfortunate?

I’m an LCSW with 7 years experience. Currently working as an EAP consultant for an insurance company from home. The pay is good but I hate being on a call queue and the schedule is SO rigid. As a working mom I’m wondering if there are other options for remote WFH positions in insurance out there that don’t require being in a call queue and having supervisors monitoring every single second of your day? I work so much better when I have time to prioritize my tasks and work at my own pace.

Trying to avoid an AITA situation.

I'm Task Lead on a project. Colleague has two young kids with apparently no child care arrangements. Kids are constantly screaming in the background during meetings (we're remote) and the employee is often not on camera because of said kids when the rest of us are. This is a daily occurrence over several months.

Is this something I can have a "chat" with the employee about? Mind you, I have no kids so I'm afraid I'll get the "you don't understand" response.

We run a full desk and for the last 7 years, I’ve continued to run a full desk while managing the recruiting and administrative teams. It’s time for me to find a new opportunity as I’ve outgrown my role and I work for a small, family owned business so there is nowhere else for me to “go”. Are VA job listings accurate? Asking because other companies’ are not. I applied to one job that said remote but when they called me it was hybrid. The VA job listing says “on-site” but wondering if there is a possibility of being remote.

Any suggestions on who will hire an MBA student graduating in May 2023? Would like to do something in valuation, FDD, or consulting but will pretty much take anything I can get. Remote would be ideal since I live on some land. I realize I’m being picky btw. I have 6 years of professional experience, half of them in a supervisory position. However, it’s a blue collar industry so pretty much will probably start off at an entry level position since the experience is irrelevant.

In the final stages of a recruiting process for a role in NY and found out my partner will need to be working in California for the next year. I know the firm is super flexible about location/remote, but up until this point they think I’m in and staying in NY. At what point do I tell them I’ll be traveling on some cadence to NY, but not living full time, as I will need to be CA for the next year? Post offer?

Anyone feel like quality of new hires and their learning curve has tanked during this remote working period?

Feels like the Mgr/SM level continually gets squeezed anytime there is a tight timeline and you don't have the bandwidth to teach...
