H1B and working remotely - has anyone managed to work remotely (outside of home office city) without having their employer file for an amended LCA? What are the short term options?

Production, lighting experts or just anyone who’s figured it out. Tips & tricks for home office lighting (for my face) for video calls? Depending on time of day, my face is either over exposed super glaring white or dark shadows look like a hostage in a closet. I have two big screens in front on my and I think computer glare makes it worse. Advice welcome!

I feel really lethargic everyday. It helps if I exercise in the morning to be more active, but sometimes there’s just no time for morning exercise. I’ve been thinking about getting a standing desk to help with this? Any thoughts of this will help? Or something else that might help? Thanks!

24 hours into mesh office chair. Most notable observation - lack of resistance to flatulence compared to previous leather chair. Overall a net positive.

Looking for Recommendations for standing desk mat. I’m aware of Topo mini by Ergodriven, Kangaroo Original and Autonomous. Are there other better quality mats that I should consider?

Fellow Consultants, just gone share this because someone shared it with me. There’s an app called Duet - allows you to use your iPad as a second monitor. Stop traveling with those second monitor screens from Amazon. 😂 Ipad is lighter and you can watch Netflix while traveling. Travel smarter.

I’m finally getting my own room to convert to a home office, but I’m sick of looking at unrealistic online photos for ideas. Don’t care if your space is organized or messy or whatever, I just need practical inspiration!

Smart people who know about technology: 🙏🏼 I want to get 11.5-14 inch monitor to add to my (1) laptop and (2) second monitor.

I’m worried about the monitor having a high “processor” and slowing down all my programs (including the program I use to login to my office desktop). Can someone point me to a monitor that may work?

Office H&S team still going overboard with those home office ergonomics emails. They just don’t get it that this is a change only for them since they’ve always been in the cozy cute decorated cubicles all this while.

The rest of the workforce freaking grew up making slides and crunching numbers in coach class middle seats. Anything at home is a luxury.
