I feel really lethargic everyday. It helps if I exercise in the morning to be more active, but sometimes there’s just no time for morning exercise. I’ve been thinking about getting a standing desk to help with this? Any thoughts of this will help? Or something else that might help? Thanks!

Make time to work out on the morning if that helps.

I recommend a stand up desk and also a donut cushion for when you’re sitting. Sometimes I march in place when working to kinda keep me alert.

Instead of morning, I make sure to exercise around 9-10pm every night, then head to bed. I find it easier to stick to this routine than in the morning. I also recommend vitamin D and B complex.

Stay hydrated! Drink water throughout the day.

I bought a standing desk too, didn’t help much - exercise and just standing while working doesn’t compare.

Every time I get up from my desk I do a set of jumping jacks, high knee taps, squats and push-ups. It literally takes a few minutes but gets my heart rate up.

If you think you have significant fatigue throughout the day, then you might want to look into a natural cleansing protocol (Global Healing Center, Medical Medium, etc.). I agree with the other posters about drinking more water and doing exercises throughout the day; however, the cleanses are a great step for overall health and you might have already tried some of these things.

How do you avoid physical deterioration during busy season? I enjoy being active, but I don’t have the time and energy to go to the gym when I’m gone ~13 hrs a day for work, sleep 8-9 hrs, and hopefully spend more than 30 minutes with my spouse. I don’t think it’s healthy to be so sedentary, but I’m not sure where the time and energy can come from.

Starting a new job and figuring out WFH desk set up. They gave me a laptop and $500 stipend for office furniture. I have a desk, chair, and iMac for myself. Trying to decide if I should get a second monitor on an arm for work, or if I should buy a new laptop for myself and a monitor I can plug each computer into at the start/end of work. I def want a big screen for personal use but it's tough to fit it all on one desk. What did you all do?

Is there a polite way to ask the SM if we can work out of our city office instead of the sad suburban office that’s closest to him and the partner? It’s one thing to travel to client site (obviously part of the job), but another to have to drive out just to work with my team. I wish that would’ve been communicated to me before I started.

Kind of a new distance runner here (completed my first half mara last month) and am usually run on treadmill for workouts during the week. I also wear an Apple Watch. Have noticed that my Apple Watch tends to say I’ve run a longer distance, at a faster speed, than treadmill. (It’s usually up to 0.5 miles off and 0.5mph off in speed). Anyone experience this? Not sure what to trust but assuming Apple Watch. Thoughts?

Any United health group remote employees here? I recently accepted an accounting job and some of the onboard makes it seem like I’m only allowed to work from my home office. I am scared of trying accutane but at this point I feel like I have no other choice (topical creams like tretinoin, dapsome are not working!). Is it silly to be so wary of accutane? I keep waking up every 2-3 hours at night. I get up to pee rinse my mouth and generally can fall back asleep right away. It’s been happening for weeks now. Say I go to sleep at 11, I’ll wake up at around 1, then around 3:30, then around 5:30. I’ll often just stay up. Or I might try to snooze for another hour or so. I’d like to sleep through from 11-7 as I used to. I guess the good thing is I don’t need an alarm anymore.
