I would like to stay at EY for a total of 2 years and then get a lax remote job that allows my bf and I to travel Europe. I truly wish I could work internationally and stay with EY, but I also think I would enjoy the experience more if I was working a job that’s max 40 hours a week and very chill. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’ll have my CPA by the time I leave (I’m in my first year rn). Bf is an attorney and looking for a lax job as well for the year. Thank you everyone <3

Anyone have experience with a required on-site final interview for a fully remote job? I'll have already had an interview with the hiring manager and a teammate and a presentation of a case study. So with some of the team being fully remote and the role I'm interviewing for being fully remote I'm not sure what I should prepare for the on-site. I really want the role and want to respect their process but it's hard to justify visiting (across the country) and getting time off my current role.

Is there any way to confidentially apply for a job within your own firm? I’m current assigned to a particular office but I want to apply for a fully remote job with a different practice group within the same firm.

I started at a US-based company about 3 weeks ago in a permanently remote role based out of Canada. Since it is a remote job, I planned to visit my family in December who stay in another country and continue working from there as per my current time zone for a couple of weeks. My manager shot down this plan saying I’m too new to make this work and I should have told this before I joined, he’d have delayed my joining. Am I being unreasonable in my request? I would be grateful for any advice. TYSM

Need some genuine help. Currently working as a support analyst at BNPP with skill set as SQL, Unix, ITIL, PLSQL. Having 4 yrs of experience.Regretting joining BNP cause it's the worst team where I'm working in. Targeting me deliberately as I had resigned once and took my papers back as they agreed to provide wfh for few more months.
