Big 4 to West Monroe transition thoughts/experiences? (E.g. WLB, benefits, culture, projects, etc) TIA!

Hi all,
I’m currently working for a small technical consulting start-up firm. I make good money, have great benefits, and they seem very happy with the work I’m doing, so I know I could move up quickly. However, tech consulting is definitely not my dream job. I want to get into data analytics, and I have an offer from a big company to do just that. I’ve only been at my current company for about 8 months, but I don’t ever see myself loving this job. How do I know when it’s time to make a change?

So had my first interview in one of the big 4 but it got me completely off guard. First one was call screening and then a technical interview. Now what I didn’t expect is rather than technicalities they focused on the consulting a lot more. Now the role that was marketed was technical/Architect and they even said that in current capacity you’ll work here as a technical person. I don’t think it went well. Coming from a technical background I was hoping for coding .
Is it always like this?

Has anyone done a survey for Capvision? I did one on ediscovery vendors that was supposed to pay $100, and now they are asking for bank details to transfer the payment. I’ve done surveys for Newton and they pay by gift card. So I’m a bit hesitant to put in my bank info here—seems like it could be an elaborate phishing scam?

It feels like my pay and title are lower than my scope of duties. I manage Youtube channels and do all strategy, planning, talent management, rework content for socials, reporting, graphic design, + a bunch of other stuff. I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

Hello, folks! I wonder if you have any advice/info for a person who is looking for an "investment associate" role in Dubai. I have a financial audit background (4 years Big-4), 1,5 year in deal advisory (half year financial due diligence department, 1 year valuation department). I have experience in TMT, retail, Energy and Utility and other industries. Currently I'm living in Eastern Europe.
What is considered to be normal in relation to WBL, compensations in Dubai for such role or similar?

I’ve worked in clinical research in the academic/non profit world for the past five years. I want to transition to a role in pharma or a CRO, but haven’t been successful yet because I don’t have industry experience. I have accepted my sexuality and found peace with the long battle of wanting to be something not what I actually am. On one side I have a lot of pressure around me being gay and trying to get a PR and get out of India, on another side I have a lot financial issues. I’m trying so hard to focus on work and to meet the expected bar for my current role. But the office politics here is toxic and always putting me down. Just wondering whether things will get better ever.
