Is your organization planning to require employees be vaccinated? I understand why management wants this but concerned about losing good employees because they don’t believe in vaccination or are wanting to wait until more people have been vaccinated to see if there are issues with it. I’m also concerned with moral if we require this. Employees may get it to keep there job but hold on to some bitterness or develop anxiety over it. Am I being too soft or over analyzing?
For anyone who’s started at a company fully remote (Covid or otherwise)… when ramping into your new role, what did you do to feel more connected to your team/sales dept? I’m finding that I have questions that I don’t know how or whom to ask, I don’t know who anyone is and my manager can be MIA. This is my first fully remote role and it’s thrown me for a bit of a loop

Anyone here a member of Revenue Collective? Is it worth it? What kind of value have you gotten out of it if so? Thanks!
We are going through and revamping some of our job descriptions and titles. We have a role that is mostly administrative support for our shipping department - printing labels, scheduling shipments, creating paperwork, correcting errors on invoices, etc. Any suggestions for a job title? This person spends most their time in the office.
Hello, We are a growing company of 250 employees. We are considering Performance Management solutions. I would love get feedback on anyone's experience with any of the below solutions? Kazoo Engagedly Perform Yard CultureAmp Thanks!!
How long, on average, did it take you to study before you could pass the PHR/SPHR exam? Did you think it was worth it?
I graduated with my bachelor's in HRM and I'm wondering if there are any certifications or trainings I could do before I lock down on the SHRM-CP. I recently became HIPAA certified for my company and that got me thinking about what else I could do to add to my resume. Looking for good stepping stone certificates.
I’m looking for some examples of an employee recognition program. Does anyone have something they are willing to share? We are starting from scratch.
Looking for feedback on Paylocity and UKG payroll HRIS. We have 250 employees and rapidly growing company.
Does anyone have a dashboard or excel template for turnover/attrition where data can be easily “dumped” in for a beautiful display? TIA!
I started interviewing with a company back in January but they were taking while to make a decision so I put them out of my mind. Fast forward to last week and I found out that I’m newly pregnant. Now, I was offered the job. I don’t know what to do! I hate my current job and this new company seems like a better fit. Do I tell them before I accept the role? I know it’s very early and anything could happen with this pregnancy but I’m torn. Advice would be so helpful!
I would like to help those wanting to shift careers in HR, minorities, or women going back to the workforce, learn workday coding and ultimately help them get a job in the space. Is there any interest?
Software Sales vs. Medical Sales: would like to hear from people on both sides. • Do you recommend your industry? • Daily Interaction • Work/Life • Income growth potential I have good opportunities in both industries, and would value feedback to help me choose. Aware of compagauge & have checked it out, btw. $120k potential for med sales job, unsure on tech yet.
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
I’m not happy where I’m at, my abilities aren’t being maximized as I’m spread thin, and I know I’m being undervalued. Recently graduated and in property management w/ 3-4 years sales experience. Currently on the hunt for Sales/Account Management roles leaning more towards consumer goods, then tech. Any advice?
For those in b2b sales how are your orders placed most? Online, customer service or sales reps?
What do you do when you get angry, mad at someone & can't convey. I lash it out at Twitter& put my fingers in fishbowl. What's your way to distress and relax in spite of fucking stressful culture.
Nearly a year out, my old agency keeps calling me for help on a platform/tool I'm an expert in. Should I broach the idea of a fee, and how would I go about doing so? I've never done any sort of freelance.
i feel like the homegrown consultants that are now senior manager+ have had “simpler” (used loosely) challenges than today’s associates. Im a senior and I can already see how the new hires have it tougher than I did, especially with more tech tools and rising college education standards
Bay Area home owners - where did you end up buying, for how much, and how satisfied are you? Context: 26, thinking of buying for the first time mostly for the sake of investment, but intimidated by the market + prices (budget around 1M and that’s also a stretch)
I realize there is no exact answer here, but at what point should you consider getting a financial advisor, if ever?
How can a UK big 4 non equity partner transfer back to the US office without taking a demotion?Deloitte EY PwC
Hi, @bain fishes, anyone knows about the new acquisition Techeconomy? Are the Techeconomy employees going to be expert at Bain or consultants? If consultants, will they only focus on PE cases or are they going to be generalist? Thanks,
Hello, Please like my post to activate my DM.
Would going in house to a Big 4 accounting firm like Deloitte be similar to big law in terms of stress and workload?
Peeps can you help provide range for manager salaries in London for T2 firms such as OW, S& and EYP. Base plus variable.
When you send a client a 60 page employee handbook to review and they send it back as a scanned PDF with handwritten edits. 🤦♀️
Put in my notice today. Can anyone share some truly great companies to work for? (non-big 4) For background: leaving core audit at Senior Associate level. Looking for a job in either Boston or DC; would love to move away from audit and more into personal financial planning, would consider personal tax/HNW clients too.
Pros and Cons of leveraging an offer from another Big 4 at your current firm? I am hoping to transfer offices, but I also want exposure to different types of engagements
I signed an offer with a mid-August start date but they’re not running the background check until closer to the start date. If I quit my job now, will that be a problem?
Hey all, I remember seeing a email where it states PTO this year will not effect utilization.. But i see it resulting in a low utilization for me.. Both standard and adjusted are at 75%..Can someone please help me understand this.. Thanks
Black girl here in Big Law. I scheduled a hair appointment for long feed-in braids next week and literally just got an email about a social hour my firm is doing the following day. This likely isn’t a style I would get if we weren’t WFH, and obviously isn’t something I think I would get fired for... but I still have anxiety around showing up with the hairstyle. Thoughts?
