Is your company still expecting you to sell like there isn’t a pandemic going on, or is it just mine?
I'm trying to find a meaningful online sexual harassment training that I can assign to all our employees. Ideally it would be something that each year will automatically assign employees to and send out reporting on who is not compliant. We are a small Company and it seems most of what is out there is for very large organizations with 1000's of employees. Anyone have any suggestions?
Anyone here struggling to get new meetings? A thread for posting what services your company offers and maybe we can help make some connections to get into new accounts.
What are HR folks seeing as an average cost for payroll providers? I'm going through demos with Paycor and would like to know what a reasonable breakdown is for payroll, time & attendance, onboarding, etc. How do you measure? Cost per employee? Any help is appreciated!
Looking for basic sales starter pointers for consultant who wants to move up. How did you get started? Pipeline building?
Has anyone written the CHRL Employment Exam in Canada - Ontario specifically. What was your experience like and how did you prepare?
My dream job was to be a research associate. It’s something I love. Other than putting my kidney up as collateral, how does one get into a RA role? Really would love some insight.
Cocreation is something I as a customer like very much. Especially when you can give input, discuss and it gets implemented or taken into account. I was wondering: how do you create a Cocreation community that gathers regularly? Do you have multiple groups? How do you manage them al if you’re a small company?
Applicants including pictures of themselves in digital resumes. why is this becoming so common? Is there a source of advice out there suggesting applicants should include photos of themselves when applying? Personally, I strongly dislike the practice.
I need to approach a manager who has received several comments that there is perceived favoritism. They have a team of hard, strong workers who have been with the company for years. A great new employee was hired several months ago with a strong technical skillset. The manager constantly praises this employee in front of the rest of their team, and consistently says comments like, "(New employee)" is the best person EVER to do this task!" making colleagues feel like their previous work in successfully getting that task done for years is unvalued. Any advice for how you would approach the manager, or how you would advise the employees who are submitting complaints?
Has anyone ever de-coupled compensation from titles? With covid/ uncertain economy we can’t afford to give raises, but I’d like employees to see career progression and personal growth as they are working their a$$es off
Have been at a director level for many years across different firms. It’s a crazy path to becoming partner - I try very hard to deliver good work and proposal, but destination seems far - depressed :(
Lady 🐠. Want to use my kathy card Amex for a special piece of jewelry. Trying to choose between Na Hoku Tahitian pearl necklace (maybe with small diamond) or David Yurman Women's Cable Classic (cont)
Hello. Anyone get accepted into a part-time program in D.C. with gpa & LSAT below the school's median? I've taken the LSAT twice & plan on taking it again in October. I have all other parts of the law school application close to being finalized but the LSAT is the only thing preventing me from applying. Any insight or advice?
Adderal? Nootropics? Microdosing? Does anyone here take something to give them a creative edge? If yes, I want to hear about your experience.
I don't think I'm super amazing at my job, but I'm also not so bad that I would be fired. I'm just..average and I haven't been able to get to that rockstar level. The issue is obviously me, I don't really grasp certain areas and I am decent but not great at client relationship. Assuming that my team, work life balance, and salary is decent, is this a sign that this isn't for me? Been in agency world for a while in a few different roles and I feel like I've just been average in all of them..
Does networking/client-facing energize or drain you? Share your thoughts. For me personally it’s the best part of my job (I find company politics draining, not human interactions tho tbh). Which is interesting because I’m an ambivert (not full-on extrovert). Was at non client-facing job prior to consulting and it felt so dry.
What do managers in KPMG advisory typically receive? Base, bonus, and any relatively noteworthy benefits? Any info, for the greater NYC area especially, would be much appreciated.
Serious question: should I do anything in response to a SM trying his damnedest to get me fired without cause?
Why is it that across many cultures the bride's family pays a disproportionate share of wedding expenses. The groom is typically older, earns more. Boggles me!
Just started doing yoga again this week. Is it normal to find it difficult with the breathing and poses ? I’m in decent shape lifting and biking, but forgot how hard this could be
Not exactly my first choice of places to take in the Fourth, but the fireworks look amazing from 30,000 feet. Happy Fourth of July, y'all!
