How do you communicate with employees who don't want to wear masks? Unbelievable to me people still have issues grasping this need.
Good Afternoon and Happy Friday everyone! I work for a larger fulfillment center and I am tasked with coming up with some new ideas to do for team member engagements. Usually once a week we hand out cookies, chips or popcorn with Gatorade. This is for close to 1200 team members. Does anyone have any great ideas?
Has anyone written the CHRL Employment Exam in Canada - Ontario specifically. What was your experience like and how did you prepare?

It's great to finally have a bowl of our own! In terms of HCM software, what is something that all of them tend to be missing, aside from a good user experience?
To all of the Talent Management / L&D professionals, what’s essential when creating a 30-60-90 day template? This will be used by the managers to help set up their new hire for success.
I recently moved to a new company. As I get access to all the systems, I noticed that I have access to HR function (peers, managers) data within the HRIS system and other sources. I am not planning to look at the data but I'm concerned that peers can see my compensation, etc., if I can see theirs. At the company I came from, HR data was extremely safeguarded and restrictive within our systems. Is this something I should bring up to my manager?

Anyone have advice when needing to demote leaders who are not performing back to an IC role? Best practices or mistakes to avoid?
Currently, we're using JazzHR for our ATS and importing new hires in ADP WorkForce Now, our HRIS and where we run payroll. JazzHR has been great, and ADP has mostly been a pain. We're also using Concur for expenses. Just did a demo with Paycom and was generally really pleased, except the ATS which seems really bare bones compared to JazzHR. Is it worth trading the ease and functionality of our standalone ATS to get an all-in-one solution?
NEW TECHNOLOGY ALERT! I just received a Beta link to try out an upcoming feature in Pipedrive. They added the ability to prospect from their Leads tab digitally. You put in the search criteria, and their search engine will go out and pull in contacts or companies based on your search. From there, you can add the lead to your leads section. The person-based leads I have found thus far have had an email address, phone numbers, and LinkedIn links. Give it a look if you can. It is pretty neat.
Seeing a lot of posts about SDRs and concern over CTR and response rate. After a while you need to think about changing the medium, not the messaging.
I’m planning to buy the study materials for the SHRM-CP certificate through Amazon. What are the best ones to obtain?
HELP: I have been a TA for 5 yrs, and prior my role was HR/recruiter.I have tried to get out of TA and move into HR but I am having a difficult time. I have applied to entry level HR roles, simply to “start” fresh, and have not seen any luck for 2yrs.It’s not that I don’t like TA, but my company has no growth option and I am stuck at a dead end, unless a magical spell is casted. I have also applied to other TA roles as well, in hope to get industry experience. How can I better market myself?
I'm convinced I'm doing this wrong. When reaching out to recruiters on LI I say something like "Hello <recruiter_name>, my name is <my_name>. I'm actively looking for new opportunities. I've found roles I'm interested in at <recruiter's_company> and would be great to connect and discuss if there would be a fit." I'm not getting any responses. If I'm saying something incorrectly or coming off across as aggressive, please tell me. I appreciate any advice and help. I'm at my wit's end. Happy to DM
Looking 2 move into industry but most stats on this forum are 4 USD. Directors/partners in the US make 300K-1M - ones here probably make 200K-500K. What salary range is good for senior industry roles.
Has anyone seen good traction on the new-ish Google Discovery ads? My teams have had mixed results here so far, and the lack of placement transparency has been a challenge. Writing ads that can appeal to users on the Google Feed, Gmail, and YouTube seems to be the most difficult part, and different accounts (or even campaigns) have wildly different CTRs, likely indicating Google is preferring certain placements for each.
Any recommendations for a bag that converts between a backpack and tote but looks professional? Strap for suitcase handle a plus
So Uber out here scamming candidates? Any stories to share? HR contacted me about an analyst role there.

Just started a contract role after collecting unemployment for nearly a year. Do I fill out taxes differently next year? It’s not a full time role, anything I should know re: unemployment claims?
If wife an I have a TC of $240k, no debt and maxed out 401k. What is the most we should spend on our forever home without being “house poor”? Currently considering $750k range, but want a second opinion to make sure we are not making a bad decision. We will put down 20%
