I have 3 years of experience at another BD and just started at Goldman. As a younger advisor I want to team up with a top producer here and have a great partnership. How would you approach this?
Have an afternoon in Tokyo and would love to spend some time looking at grand Seiko/normal Seiko/vintage Seiko. GS is out of my price range for this trip but could pick up something cheaper. Recs?
Getting prepped for an interview with Goldman this week. Any current or former Goldman 🐠 open to a quick discussion regarding the specific business unit and culture? Thanks
In Miami on Saturday, any fish up for dinner/drinks? Old guy, not a foodie, don’t use Tumi, not looking to move to MBB(D), not GS or similar status and happy with all of the above :) Other Q, pls DM
Has anyone had success in negotiating from a lower GS level that was posted in the vacancy announcement to a higher one after receiving an offer? Tips, experiences?
1- What high yield savings accounts do people use? 1b- Thoughts on Amex savings vs. Marcus by Goldman 2- Do people still use CDs? Best CD rates other 🐠 have been able to find?
Just opened a GS Marcus account. Will I get an interest deposit every month? Or how does that actually work?
Got to love that sinking feeling when you go to board a 9+ hour flight as a UA GS member with your family and the gate agent looks at you with pity and says "how did you get stuck in Economy minus?"
Anyone have insights on Goldman Sachs operations role? Recruiter reached out about a change management VP role in their Operations group. I'm curious about culture, type of work, and compensation.
Hi friends, I recently moved to Toronto from the US. Looking for roles in consulting. Previously worked with Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs. MBA in International business. Would appreciate any leads.
Being headhunted for a Goldman Sachs Project Manager role. Not sure what to say for compensation expectations. Glassdoor range is 77-202k (avg 162k) but LinkedIn says 62-120k. What’s reasonable?
I was browsing the Goldman Sachs website and noticed that many people listed as Executive Director/VP seem to have graduated uni within the last 5-8 years. Are they execs, managers or senior analysts?
Who uses CitiVelocity, Matrix, Barkley’s, or GS Marque? Want to get an account but not sure which is better. Don’t want all, just the best one.
Does anyone here have a “Marcus” savings account by Goldman Sachs Bank? What are your thoughts so far?
