I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?

Is your organization planning to require employees be vaccinated? I understand why management wants this but concerned about losing good employees because they don’t believe in vaccination or are wanting to wait until more people have been vaccinated to see if there are issues with it. I’m also concerned with moral if we require this. Employees may get it to keep there job but hold on to some bitterness or develop anxiety over it. Am I being too soft or over analyzing?
As a company we are looking at going digital with our employee personnel and medical files etc. What are some of the ways you have done that? Any advice/recommended process?
How long do you typically allow for self assessments and manager assessments for year-end? This year we gave employees a week and managers 3 weeks (holidays not included), but they still said it wasn’t long enough even though most waited until the very last day to complete them.

Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

I recently found out I’m pregnant and am going to be due around Christmas time. I typically take PTO for the last two weeks of the years anyways because it only ends up being like 6 days for 2 weeks because of all the holidays. If I have the twins a little early (which is very likely) but during my PTO time, do you think they would be okay with the maternity leave starting 1/1 instead of when the babies are born? Or is it very strict on when it starts?

Is it possible that a non-Asian who’s previously dated three Asians in a row doesn’t have a fetish? He claims he sees them all as individuals and is just attracted to thin brunettes. The exes were all different ethnicities (Korean, Chinese) if that makes a difference. He doesn’t give off overt yellow fever vibes and has also dated Latinas/Caucasians but I’m not too sure what to think.
