I’m in search of a company, with kick‐ass leaders, who are 'actually' impacting lives and building better futures. This company is excited about how I blow up traditional learning and engagement by helping employees matter, reimagining engagement and making better humans.
RQ Agency Discussions
Putting in my notice tomorrow, but my current agency is closed all next week for thanksgiving. Does the week off still count toward my 2 weeks notice period? Or would I need to effectively start the 2 weeks on 11/29 once we get back from thanksgiving?
I’ve been working as a junior copywriter about a year. I know my job is about finding creative ideas, but I’m not sure how. I’ve been struggling a lot and questioning my creativity, since I can’t think of any idea which would win an award. I don’t even know if I’m the problem or not about this. I also couldn't talk about this with anyone. Please guide me to find ways such as senior copywriters find brilliant ideas.
Guys. Can we please all agree once and for all Coca-Cola is the worst client OF ALL TIME. No matter what brand, what piece of business or type of media, working for Coca-Cola will kill your spirit.

Any advice on how to handle an ECD in charge of your salary who says the only way to get a promotion or even a COL raise of any kind is through winning an award? Not consistently reliable and solid performance. Not keeping the client happy and profitable. “You either win an award, or all ya get is to keep your job.”
And yes, I’m aware leaving is always an option, but eager for any other advice how to navigate.
Seven hours of zoom conferences is mentally draining. They’re great and all, but I think we need to chill out a little bit.
Does anyone have any experience with Campbell Ewald? Looking to make a move there but man not the best reviews on glassdoor..heard so far below average pay, no overtime, etc. Any thoughts??
It feels weird posting a LinkedIn post in FishBowl, but I found this post from Jamal very insightful. I would have just copied the text, but I want to give him credit.

What do you guys know about it?
Has anyone transitioned from direct sales to indirect (channel, solutions consulting, etc.)? I’m an Enterprise AM currently (6+ years of total closing experience in SaaS) but looking to make a change sometime in the next 18-24 months. Certainly expecting to sacrifice financial upside but growing tired of the grind.
Has anyone gone from commercial to federal consulting? I keep hearing everyone warning me not to do it but I like my WLB
I was just talking to a younger friend who goes to Cal and It seems like the kids these days hate FAANG or at least Amazon and Facebook are not desired at all. I personally don’t see too many issues working at either Amazon or Facebook because I work at Deloitte where I’m sure we have many questionable clients and worked in financial services before. Curious on whether people are thinking about the ethics of their exit company when deciding to move?
what’s the next millionaire maker stock?
I work as an Information System Security Officer. I've been in this position for a few years now. I've been wanting to do something more technical lately (cloud computing/ethical hacking), but I'm not sure how to make the leap. The ISSO function entails a lot of paperwork, security enforcement, auditing, and reporting. I recognize the significance of the position, but to be honest, I find it tedious. Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
What are your go-to confidence tips? I haven't been feeling myself lately, and need some help!
Came across an article saying the below:

How true is this?
For those that are thinking of moving to new jobs. Are you worried about moving to a new company and being laid off? With the economy the way it is and rumors of lay offs this is something that makes me think twice about leaving. I am aware that it can happen at my current company but it's it more likely to be laid off first in a new company?
