For anyone who’s started at a company fully remote (Covid or otherwise)… when ramping into your new role, what did you do to feel more connected to your team/sales dept? I’m finding that I have questions that I don’t know how or whom to ask, I don’t know who anyone is and my manager can be MIA. This is my first fully remote role and it’s thrown me for a bit of a loop

Mckinsey recruiter reached out to me telling they would like to pass me to my final round. But haven’t had the chance to discuss pay. Asking this only because I’m on a path to manager (+pay bump) with my current company.

I’m currently in a 1BR for $2400. Am I crazy to pay $3k for a studio in a much nicer building in the same area? My current building is trash and I realized having an updated kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room would be really nice, but not sure if it’s worth the price tag vs finding another place at $2500ish. I’ll be local for the foreseeable future even post-COVID
When will people stop calling it the coronavirus. The virus is not called coronavirus... there are many other strains of coronaviruses besides Covid-19. That is all. Kthx

Do I just "go with the flow" until I get my pink slip? I don't want to be killing myself knowing I am on my way out, but I can't exactly share this with the client either. Any recommendations on how to proceed?
