I am in the process of finishing up my MBA but considering also getting my SPHR or PHR cert. Is it even worth it or a waste of time and money?

I have a question for the sales managers out there.

What motivated you to pursue a career change from front line sales to managing a team of sales professionals?

I ask, because as I look to the future I am wondering if just staying on the front lines will be more lucrative then entering management.

Any advice for someone looking to transition into a full HR Generalist role from Recruiting. I’m currently a Campus Recruiter with about 5 years of HR experience (Coordinator- Higher Ed). I received my PHR certification in September 2020 and sitting for my SHRM-CP in two weeks. I’m having a hard time transitioning into a full Generalist position.

Does the word “inclusion” do more harm than good? What if the panel we simply said “Diversity & Equity”? My thought here is that inclusion insinuates that anyone who isn’t in the “majority” needs to feel “included”, which could be somewhat off putting. Shouldn’t the goal be for everyone to feel equal instead of simply feeling included? I’d love to get some opinions on this!

My annual perf discussion is monday morning. I work on a tough team for a tough place. I think Im a pretty good/almost high performer but only around 3 years and my boss seems to still act like I’m brand new (lifer boomer). I try to tell myself he has 6 direct reports and has to do this with everyone, Im no more or no less special - but I hate these convos and negative feedback even when most of it is unsurprising/fair feedback. Any tips? Just need to get through it! HR people are not immune!

Should I leave my company? Been here 1.5 years and was told I was getting a management promotion 5-6 months ago.Still no solid traction and they are opening up a req for it 😑no one on the current sales team has ever been promoted (2 years)except our boss who has been promoted 3 times. We hit quote every month/q/year by a lot. I have several offers at double my OTE. Already asked what the timeline is for a new manager and I was told soon and I'm "up for consideration." Omnistudio - may you get built in to Salesforce core. Hate how I have to install a package every release, test it, and when there is a break fix that cycle repeats. This is on top of those freaking data that drives functionalities (omniscripts, flex, IP) are all records and tough to sync to non-full copy. Salesforce needs to kill that product or get those into the core! What’s your take on this? This is for friendly conversation

Have received offer from TCS and tentative DOJ I gave was 27 June 2022.
There are many people who can see doj in "offer and day 1" section in iBegin portal (even those who have doj in July).

Someone on LinkedIn expressed disappointment about the lack of diversity from the big law firms in TX that were posting pics of their summer associates. A managing partner commented that he thought the post might be about a pic he posted (12/14 SAs were white). He tried to defend this by saying that they had LGBT and socioeconomic diversity. The fact that he recognized that his pic might be part of the problem says it all. Law firms need to do better. Sorry, I just wanted to rant.

I am working as a Collibra Architect from past 1 year and 2 months now(First gig after Uni) and honestly I dont like what I am doing, its too boring and it doesnt really involve any real development which i originally signed up for.
