1st year attorney here. It seems hard to find any transactional law job or even commercial litigation law job as a newbie. The only jobs I more or less see are the ID firms. I am talking about the MIA-FTL-WPB area specifically.

I check out job search platforms like LinkedIn regularly and it is basically the same ID firms again and again posting.

Is the job market for all these other specializations bad or am I just looking wrong?

I recently put in my 2 weeks in for a new job that pay higher but I now want to be " PRN" here and not leave entirely because i actually dont mind the work that i do. I do feel stupid asking my boss if I can PRN instead though? OR who knows what he would say anyway, what do you think?

Jr. Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in Central Florida. Good credentials; top 10% at T14, law review. Sick of private practice bc of hours and pressure. Also, not enjoying the work that Central Florida offers, but want to live here.
