I am SAP HCM consultant having 4.10 years of experience. I feel that this module doesn’t have any growth. My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. Should I be worried about my skillset? Any insights would highly be appreciated. I feel stuck.

I currently work as an APM at a FAANG company but recently received an offer to join an MBB. I’m very excited about the role but didn’t realize I’d need to take a pay cut when I applied (~100k base + ~20k bonus + ~60k equity vs. 90k base + 10-20k bonus). Considering that I currently work 40-60 hours/week, I’ll be making significantly less per hour at the MBB. One of my family members is diagnosed with breast cancer and I have to take care of her. I have been working from home (1.6 Yr) since the joining in my present organization. But now, they are saying if I resign due to any reason then I have to serve notice period (90 days) from office that too in night shift 3:00 to 12:00. My office is in different state.

Anyone else having trouble focusing today? Every time I have a long break and come back to the office I’m reminded how much I don’t like my current job. ID Associate and I have such a hard time concentrating even after a week off. I find it mind-numbing and unfulfilling. I’m never excited to come to work anymore for the past few months now. Just found out from a legal recruiter that I’m also way underpaid here. Hopeful I’ll get a job in a diff area of law or find another calling altogether.

So I just moved states. I’m staying with a parent for a while in a pretty large house and my cat keeps hiding for hours on end (I think to snooze). Any thoughts? She’s spent time with me and I walked around with her while she explores. And she’s ventured solo. Seemed she’s warming up well. Except this again. I admit it’s giving me horrible anxiety that she won’t respond at all until I locate her because even I’m learning where things are and want her to be safe. This is the third time 😭

How do you spend your precious unwinding time after work? I love binge watching tv shows but realize it’s probably not the healthiest way to wind after a stressful day. Anything fun / low stress yall do?

Anyone with anxious attachment tendencies? Going through a breakup and I keep thinking about how I pushed him away and then am down on myself, replaying memories in my mind. Please give me a rough estimate on how much hike we can expect in my annual salary revision. I expected 8LPA when I joined. They gave me 5LPA with a promise of revision in 3months after joining. They inc it to 7.75LPA after 4m and during appraisal cycle gave 25k 11months to make it to 8LPA. In Oct my hike is due, so I would to like negotiate my hike. Please let me know how much I can ask for.

Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). No response whatsoever. Will emailing them again be inappropriate? I desperately need this job
