some states allow it and others dont. what state do you live in?
How do you know which state allows it?
Chief
Email the applicable state boards of professional engineers and see what they say.
Thank you!
Depends on the state in which you are licensed. Each state has its own rules and requirements for professional engineers to renew their licenses, and they may have different rules for what counts towards PDH (professional development hours) credits.
Most states require professional engineers to complete a certain number of PDH credits within a specific time frame in order to renew their license. However, the types of courses or activities that count towards these credits can vary. Some states may accept an OSHA 10 course as part of the PDH credits, while others may not.
I would recommend checking with your state board of engineering to find out what types of courses count towards your PDH credits and whether an OSHA 10 course is acceptable. The state board should have information on their website or you can contact them directly for clarification. Good luck out there!
Have you checked your state board already? I suggest you do so if you haven't yet. You can find there all the information you need on this one.
