A manager disclosed confidential medical information in an email to our entire team about me. I reached out and notified her of the wrong doing & backed my statements with legal information. The only thing that was said as a result was , “oh my God, I’m sorry - I don’t know what I was thinking.” She often does things without thinking and is ridiculously unprofessional. She has been turned into HR several times in the past as well.

Any advice on how to tastefully tell your manager that you no longer want to be a charge nurse anymore? For us being in charge is having full assignment 3p-7p & being responsible for assigning pts , communicating w/ supervisor about various issues, making the assignment for next shift, and a mini report about each pt for the next charge. On the weekends, same responsibilities but 7a-7p. We don't get any additional pay for being in charge and I'm sick of the added responsibility and stress of it.
