Base as well. Thanks guys. Actually appreciate it. I had kept making excuses for myself. Particularly when I compared my salary to friends who work in government and nonprofits albeit I am getting paid significantly below my peers who I've out ranked before. Starting in tech didn't help.
A17 thankfully I found a great deal on an apartment in the city, but most of my peers live in the east or south bay where rent is much more reasonable. I know a comparable hire in Houston started at $72k, and $3k definitely does not bridge the gap in cost of living/tax burden

Is the base pay the same in every location as an entry level analyst ?

Does philly have high cost of living? That seems higher than I would have expected, though must admit I'm not familiar with the city
