I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?
Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?
I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.

Tell them to do better.
They’re not going to be able to do better. 2026 is a different world than 2025.
What is your current level at Deloitte? And how many years at level?
What is an L6?
They only offered 30k stock? I ended up not going but last year the offer was 250k base, 75k bonus and 100k stock.

What’s the deal with stock? How quickly does it vest?
1/3rd every year
Sign on has to have rationale .. what have you walked away from? A bonus not yet paid, a leave entitlement we don't offer.
There’s three pieces I would consider.
1) unpaid RSUs yet to vest
2) bonus for the 6 months of the fiscal year already passed
3) risk (risky joining a new firm as it can be tough to integrate and build a network, if things go bad here I’m getting max severance as I’ve been here 10 years, more risk elsewhere, if it’s a new practice or startup you can argue the risk is even higher)
If you’re leaving anything on the table, then you should ask and be able to get a sign on.
