1. Apply for jobs saying she does not require sponsorship > if she receives and accepts an offer > immediately apply for marriage GC and should be able to receive EAD before OPT expiration meaning she would not require sponsorship.
Will she need to disclose this to the recruiter?
Will recruiters ask for proof of marriage during recruiting process given this scenario?
Would she be treated the same as a US citizen in this instance?
Will this be fine with most companies?
Does applying for Marriage GC during OPT affect OPT?
Is it difficult for the companies to go from OPT > Marriage GC in terms of work authorization?
2. Apply for jobs saying she requires sponsorship > receive and accept offer > if she doesn't pass H-1B lottery > immediately apply for marriage GC and receive EAD before OPT expiration (tighter timeline, but possible)
Are companies pretty adaptive around this arrangement or would this be an issue?
