All, I am majored in information systems and hold a PMP certification . Ive been a (engineering) project coordinator for a few years, but would like to transition to a new role. Any advice on what roles I should pursue? PM seems like the obvious choice, but I am having a hard time bridging the gap. Anecdotally, I only see senior engineers/sme become PM.

I’ll be promoted next year to senior but I’m in a niche role where I don’t see myself long term. Should I make a job switch now or should I wait to get promoted to senior? I currently have 1.5 years of experience.

I’m the only PM in my company. We work with custom automation in Michigan. I’m a recent graduate in mechanical engineering but I have 6+ in business and a degree on it. My question is, is 60k too little? Some of my friends are telling me that I was lowballed.
