Is this the same Tax Senior posting at least 3 times about this? Maybe just ask someone in HR if you’re eligible.
No, this is my first post on it but was hoping to have more response then those posts did.
Lol… I would not get too worked up about it.
DM for a referral to KPMG!
Likewise. If you want CR we got CR
If you joined CRZ after September, I'm sure you were compensated fairly due to the current market situation. Not getting the increase probably just puts you even with your peers that have been with the firm for a while and needed a market adjustment. Don't be hatin.
Relax. Lol. If you haven’t been notified you’re good. Only very recent hires won’t get it. Think September 1 or newer.
I think you’ll get the raise. I heard it was basically only if you were hired that week it was announced.
Yeah then THAT’s the silver tuna. I would think that you should have been notified just because inflation didn’t run away between the time you got hired and Jan 1. The raise is a response to inflation, which has increased wildly in the past 12 months (highest in 40 years). But the fact that you haven’t been notified yet would make me guess that you will also get the raise.
It’s deff bc of inflation they just didn’t out right say that
Why shouldn’t I get the raise? When I was hired, the board meeting to approve raises hadn’t happened yet. For all we know, the salary I was given is one that didn’t have any type or raise factored into it…just a general salary. I would argue that those hired after that board meeting should be the only ones to not get it…why? Because it wass known then that raises were happening. Raises weren’t known when I was hired.
Well whether they say the raise is a response to inflation or not, that’s what’s happening. CohnReznick isn’t giving this money to every employee because they want to be a nice firm. They’re doing it because salaries and wages are rising everywhere as a result of macroeconomic causes, and they need to do this to retain talent and keep competitive with their peers. If they don’t increase salaries, they would lose too many people to other firms, and they know that. You may still get one of these, I don’t know what the cutoff was, but let’s understand what’s going on here. Many of my friends’ other firms are also making salary adjustments as a response to inflation (outside public accounting).
