Nope, I feel the same. However, not getting pressured to return.
I consider myself to have been extremely vigilant about covid over the past couple years, but unless you have kids or live in a state like FL, then breakthrough covid is not a significant risk

I was okay with going into the office up until my spouse and I got breakthrough cases of COVID. Now I’m very much against it.
I don't feel safe, mostly due to the commute and having a vulnerable 7 year old. Until she can get vaccinated, I'll always be on edge. And yes I'm vaccinated, but the science is pretty clear we can be carriers.

I haven’t gone in this month. I have an hour-long train commute and my husband cannot afford to get sick, even with breakthrough covid, since he can’t work from home (chef on a new start-up team). I also don’t want to risk getting covid, however mild it may be, to end up with potential long haul effects
I feel the same and am being pressured to come in for witness meetings even though we are still WFH.
To clarify: I am vaccinated, but people don’t wear masks in common areas. I think the people I work with are vaccinated, but I come into contact with random other staff regularly. There’s just too high of a rate of breakthrough infections for me to feel comfortable, especially when we have been doing our jobs just as effectively from home. It’s not worth the risk.
I am with you! My office is still optional in-person attendance, but we’ve had three breakthrough cases in the last month just out of those people who have been going in. (Texas)
I’m in the exact same scenario, and my office has had three breakthrough cases in the last six weeks or so. Los Angeles. Won’t be seeing me in the office with any regularity any time soon…
I’m not comfortable going in. Even though I don’t have kids and my partner and I are both vaccinated, I don’t want a breakthrough case. The long-term effects of COVID really worry me, especially things like brain fog (which I can’t afford with this job)
Coach
Yes very very very scared 🥸😉

Why don’t you feel safe? Are you unvaccinated? Do people in your office not wear masks in common areas?
I am vaccinated. Everyone is required to be vaccinated to be in the office but there was a person in the office who tested positive for breakthrough covid.
I have a two kids, 2 and 4, and have stopped going in for the time being. No pressure to be there until after Labor Day (awaiting the firm to announce a delay). But just not worth going in and adding any potential risk to my kids if I can be more efficient continuing WFH.
We’ve been pressured (“strongly encouraged”) to be back in the office full-time since June 1, 2020 (yes, 2020… and so I’ve been in full-time since then). I’m fully vaccinated and I believe everyone I interact with on a daily-basis is too, but I still think the pressure to be in the office full-time is asinine. I don’t see our firm changing course anytime soon though, even with the delta variant 🙄 (AM100 firm too, btw)
What firm is this?
I feel safe but I just don’t want to go into the office.
SA 1 - i am the same lol
