Help me figure this out fam: I think I have achieved the state of "idgaf" but I also wake up every morning stressed. And I think it's anxiety about being chained to my laptop for 10+ hours a day...even though the work I'm doing is interesting, I am developing, and I truly have accepted that my best at times still won't be enough (but who cares?). Am I burnt out again? I just want to wake up with the sun every day, work for a few hours, then call it a day...

Last night was my SOs birthday. As a gift I bought lingerie, a blindfold, and a tickler. I thought it would be hot and fun and he was not turned on by that. At all. Finally completed the ttp course. The gmat exam is still coming up but damn does it feel good.

Im a ux/ui and visual designer with 5 years of experience. Last year I told myself this the last year I was working for someone so I didn’t Renew my portfolio hosting. So essentially i lost my work. Fast forward to now i need to get back into the workforce so I’m redoing my portfolio.

My question is what “regular “ or job that doesn’t require a portfolio can i get with the skill of a designer while I rebuild my portfolio and apply for jobs. Working for restaurant is not cutting it.

Just had a chemical and thinking of another ivf cycle right away. Bad idea ?

So far I’ve been through 1 IVF cycle. I have one embryo that is frozen waiting for transfer. My doctor is wanting me to do another round of IVF to back eggs for baby number two down the road. Has anyone been through this? I know of two people around my age that got pregnant naturally with their second baby after IVF. Does anyone know about banking embryos for future use instead of transferring? My insurance doesn’t cover anything so all this of out of pocket.

Has anyone had a reverse flow of the ductus venosus? It was detected on the 12 week ultrasound. And we couldn’t do any blood work due to a vanished twin, so the next step is an early echo and amniocentesis at 16 weeks. Would love to know if anyone has dear with any of these things!

Went for my first appointment after the egg retrieval and the doctor found a few cysts. So we postponed it to the next cycle. I didn't realise I would have to wait for another. He had given a birth control option but I just thought it would be better to wait for the natural cycle.

Can anyone educate me on these cysts? I dont find many articles about cysts after egg retrieval

I’ve hesitated posting because I don’t now what I’m asking of you all. But here goes. I froze my eggs a few years back and got 5. I’m now married and yesterday I froze another 2. Low numbers I know. I’m in my 40s. This week we make embryos- with 7. And I guess I’m just anxious. What if nothing. What if abnormal. What if something but they don’t transfer. Do I risk n carry myself (terrified of pregnancy btw). My mind is racing. Anyone been through this with such low numbers- anyone in your 40s?🙏🏽

Has anyone had luck with increasing sperm count? My husband’s SA test results aren’t ideal (good morphology and motility but 10 million sperm count). He’s not overweight, not a smoker, drinks only occasionally (way less in quarantine, maybe once a month, and cut coffee down to two cups a day. He’s on proxeed now and vitamins recommended by our fertility doctor, but the doctor has been heavily recommending IUI or IVF and I’m not sure if we’re wasting our time trying to improve his count. Cont.

As a self-pay lady, it’s really annoying to end a stim cycle with boxes on boxes of leftover medication. They could have estimated more closely and included refills or something.

Egg freezing: tonight I will take my trigger shot but my estradiol levels are over 7000 so I will need to take Cabergoline for 7 days to reduce risk of OHSS. Is this normal? I feel the last two days the staff has not been very proactive in sharing info

Doctor said we have a 1% chance of success. Such a hard thing to go through and most of us go through this in silence.

Can anyone share their IVF experience? How it goes day by day and for the 10 days window? I am going to start this process from this month, any experience share would be greatly helpful

Did my second time virginal ultrasound today and doctor diagnosed me as blighted ovum with only an empty gestational sac. I know I am only 4 and half weeks pregnant(accurate based on last intimacy) should I still keep some hope the yolk sac is not visible due to too early stage of pregnancy and ask for another ultrasound? 😞

Anyone have really light periods after taking Provera. I had to take Provera to induce period after the egg retrieval in early June. My period started on Monday but it's super light. We are planning to do a Natural FET but I'm just nervous as things don't seem like they are back to normal.

I am so sad and will seek therapy. Have one son via ivf and was overly optimistic . My next ivf cycle was awful, despite good amh/fsh, with a huge drop off with day 5 embryos and abnormal results. I’m going to cycle again and possibly another time but I can’t stop feeling so pessimistic and I don’t know if I can deal with the waiting game again.

If you ovulate on your own, would you consider taking a trigger shot or do the at home testing with an OPK kit? Currently on Clomid for IUI and RE gave me options like I can either do the trigger or do at home testing. She wasn’t helpful with an answer to “If I should take a trigger & does it have any advantage over at home testing” as she believes I can pick one of my choice and should be ok. Personally, I don’t have a problem with testing on my own. Wanted to post it here to hear thoughts?

Anyone here adopt a puppy during the infertility struggle? Husband and I considering it to have something positive throughout this situation and thinking the extra companionship would be helpful. I work from home. Husband has had many family dogs and lots of experience with it, I’ve had a family cat before. But not sure if it’s actually a good idea - wondering if it would truly help make us feel better and keep our minds off of the struggles or if it would just add extra stress. Thoughts?

Anyone enroll in dual insurance coverage? My wife is currently on my employer’s plan with me with a 25k lifetime fertility max. That’s 1.5-2 cycles of IVF as I understand it. We might need more, and her employer’s plan would also have a fertility benefit, so we’re thinking of dual enrolling her in both my employer’s plan, as well as her employer’s plan. Anyone else do this?

Hi everyone, we are on our third cycle of clomid( no IUI) and appears I am not ovulating yet. What additional things you have done to make sure that you ovulate ( like Maca root powder etc.)
