Probably between $600-800k total comp would be my guess. Lower if it’s non-advisory/strategy.
I meant advisory as in strategic advisory, strategy consulting. If D has it backasswards and Consulting trumps Advisory then fine. My point still stands. People who do strategy work have and will get paid, on average, more than people that do functional consulting / staff augmentation / tech work. Now I am sure there will be a few replies saying “ohmuhgerrrrrrrd but but but Tech folks make bank way more than strategy”.
300-450k for internally promoted new MDs

First year internally promoted MD total comp ranges between $400K-$600K approximately

First year promotes have a base of $325k- <$400k. Deloitte has levels of MD, MD2 kicks in at a base of 400k so a first year, in consulting will not be at or above $400k.
Bonus on average, the first year is another 20-25%. The formula for the bonus is connected to form performance via unit value then scaled up or down based personal performance

I didn’t take the offer but D offered an MD comp in the upper $300s as base salary. There’s also a bonus structure as well.
