Hello Verizon fellows, In Deloitte, there's a facility to claim a certain reimbursement for purchasing mobile devices through their portal or something. Similarly, do VDSI employees have any discounts or reimbursement for purchasing devices through Verizon? If so, kindly let me know how to check it out. Thanks in advance.

As a sponsored person I will straight up tell you that our policy is worse than in many other places.
You get reimbursed only AFTER you come back from MBA and all the reimbursement is taxed. You get reimbursed over 1.5 times the duration of the program. I am considering 1-year MBA, so 1.5 years for me. On top of that you need to work for another year, otherwise you have to return everything you were reimbursed over last 12 months. So for me it will be 2.5 years. If this is the same for 2-year MBAs, the math works out that you have to stay for 4 years, but that would be insanely bad deal, so I think there might be some different rules in place...
As mentioned you also need to be a top performer - I don't think we sponsor more than a few people per office per year (I mean 150+ offices).
There are better rules on reimbursement and other stuff if you go part-time, but doing part-time MBA while working in consulting, and not getting all MBA benefits? I probably wouldn't do it, but that's me.
Feel free to DM me, as I already got my sponsorship confirmed, so can describe my process in details if you are interested.
Also, most of what I said is available on Zspace (if you are from ZS, it's our internal intranet)
I haven’t looked it up to confirm but as I recall.. 1.5-2 years working at ZS you apply and should be a strong performer. We comp full time or part time tuition but you need to stay with the company for two years after you complete the degree or pay back the costs
@ZS2 - Thanks for the details. Do you know if other companies outperform us on the education benefit? Any details on those?
I am considering applying for sponsorship internally but will give it another thought based on the info I gather, including this thread.
MBB pays directly to your school, so you don't have to take out a loan / pay with your savings and sometimes (rarely) provides stipend AFAIK.
Not sure about the details of other companies, but most pay upfront - really bugs me that ZS is making you lose money but not doing this - both from taxes and through paying interest on your loan...
