👋 do I get anxious, sure, but I don’t have clinical, generalized anxiety nor social anxiety. I don’t think I have a “how” for that, I’m just not a very anxious person. I am very mindful and tend to live in the moment, maybe that helps?
I have ADHD, anxiety, and dyslexia. Every day at Deloitte brings new challenges
I think the way ADHD manifests itself varies quite a bit on an individual basis. I personally experienced more of the social anxiety symptoms before my diagnosis. Once I got treatment and was able to better understand my condition I was able to navigate situations a whole lot better.
This is true for me as well. Once I began to understand more about why I do the things I do (or don’t do) and why I behave the way I do, I felt like I had a bit more of a roadmap.
That doesn’t mean I’m always able to follow it (I still interrupt, lose threads of conversations because I’m daydreaming, wander away mid conversation, etc.) but I feel like I’m doing better, and that’s decreased my social anxiety a little.
There’s def correlation but not necessarily always true. Im pretty extroverted and usually don’t have anxiety issues.
I don’t. Always loved change and highly social.
